Abstract

ABSTRAK Pertumbuhan internet dan media sosial mengalami peningkatan pesat di era digital ini. Instagram menjadi salah satu media sosial yang sangat populer. Instagram menyediakan beragam konten menarik, termasuk konten kesehatan yang banyak dicari pengguna internet. Meningkatnya pencarian informasi kesehatan juga membawa risiko penyebaran informasi hoaks. Pemerintah berperan aktif dengan membentuk akun resmi seperti akun Instagram @bkpkkemenkes yang berperan dalam menyebarkan informasi kesehatan yang akurat dan terpercaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konten media sosial Instagram @bkpkkemenkes terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi kesehatan pengikutnya. Terdapat dua variabel dalam penelitian ini yaitu Konten Media Sosial (X) dan Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Informasi (Y). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Teknik sampling yang digunakan Purposive Sampling, di mana sampel dipilih berdasarkan kriteria tertentu. Populasi penelitian merupakan pengikut akun Instagram @bkpkkemenkes. Analisis data yang dilakukan menggunakan metode regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian analisis regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan bahwa terdapat nilai signifikansi (sig.) sebesar 0,000 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05. Oleh karena itu, H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, mengindikasikan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara konten media sosial Instagram @bkpkkemenkes terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi kesehatan para pengikutnya. Kemudian Korelasi Pearson antara kedua variabel X dan Y sebesar 0,769 yang menunjukkan koefisien yang kuat antara variabel X dan variabel Y. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dan kuat dari konten media sosial Instagram @bkpkkemenkes terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi kesehatan pengikutnya. Mayoritas responden menganggap kejelasan dan kredibilitas konten media sosial Instagram @bkpkkemenkes sangat penting dan responden juga mempercayai konten yang disebarkan. Selain itu, responden juga menginginkan informasi yang tidak hanya lengkap tetapi juga mudah dipahami dan mengandung informasi terkini agar memenuhi kebutuhan informasi kesehatan. Kata kunci: Informasi Kesehatan ; Konten Media Sosial ; Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Informasi. ******************************** ABSTRACT The growth of the internet and social media has increased rapidly in this digital era. Instagram has become a very popular social media. Instagram provides a variety of interesting content, including health content that is sought after by many internet users. The increased search for health information also carries the risk of spreading hoax information. The government plays an active role by establishing official accounts such as the Instagram account @bkpkkemenkes which plays a role in disseminating accurate and reliable health information. This research aims to determine the influence of Instagram social media content @bkpkkemenkes on fulfilling the health information needs of its followers. There are two variables in this research, namely Social Media Content (X) and Fulfillment of Information Needs (Y). The method used in this research is a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sampling technique used was Purposive Sampling, where samples were selected based on certain criteria. The research population is followers of the Instagram account @bkpkkemenkes. Data analysis was carried out using a simple linear regression method. The results of simple linear regression analysis research show that there is a significance value (sig.) of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. Therefore, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, indicating that there is a significant influence between the social media content of Instagram @bkpkkemenkes on fulfilling the health information needs of its followers. Then the Pearson correlation between the two variables X and Y is 0.769 which shows a strong coefficient between variable X and variable Y. The conclusion of this research is that there is a significant and strong influence of the social media content Instagram @bkpkkemenkes on fulfilling the health information needs of its followers. The majority of respondents consider the clarity and credibility of Instagram social media content @bkpkkemenkes to be very important and respondents also trust the content that is distributed. Apart from that, respondents also want information that is not only complete but also easy to understand and contains up-to-date information to meet their health information needs.
