Abstract
********** This research delves deeply into the Public Relations (PR) strategies leveraging the roles of Human Resources Development (HRD) and receptionist staff to enhance consumer interest in Shariah-based hospitality businesses, with a specific focus on Hotel Sofyan Cut Meutia Cikini. Qualitative approaches and case studies were employed to collect data through in-depth interviews with PR team members, HRD personnel, and hotel receptionists. The analysis revealed that HRD plays a crucial role in formulating employee policies that support PR strategies, encompassing training on Shariah values and communication skill development, while receptionist staff are identified as frontline ambassadors responsible for guest service delivery and creating positive experiences. Understanding the contributions of HRD and receptionist staff to PR strategies enables hotels to develop more holistic measures to enhance the image and appeal of Shariah-based hospitality businesses. This includes developing more targeted training programs for staff, implementing policies that support Shariah values, and fostering collaboration among the PR, HRD, and front office departments. The findings of this research are expected to provide deeper insights into the relationship between HRD, receptionist staff, and PR strategies in the context of Shariah-based hospitality businesses and to lay the groundwork for the development of best practices in this industry.
