Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh penerapan permainan ice breaking terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka. Penelitian ini berisi teori-teori yang relevan dengan variabel atau masalah yang akan dikaji. Sumber-sumber pustaka yang diperoleh kemudian dikaji melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan ice breaking dalam pembelajaran berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik terutama pada muatan IPS kelas V sekolah dasar. Cakupan materi IPS yang cukup padat mengharuskan peran besar guru untuk mengelola kelas dengan baik agar peserta didik bersemangat dan tidak jenuh serta memacu daya kreatifitas yang tinggi agar pembelajaran menjadi efektif. Ice breaking hadir sebagai jembatan dalam setiap pembelajaran, baik pada awal pembelajaran, pertengahan pembelajaran maupun akhir pelajaran ********* The purpose of this study was to analyze how the effect of the application of ice breaking games on students' learning motivation. This research was conducted using a literature study approach. This study contains theories that are relevant to the variables or problems to be studied. The library sources obtained were then reviewed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the application of ice breaking in learning has a significant effect on students' learning motivation, especially in the social studies content for grade V elementary school. The coverage of social studies material which is quite dense requires a large role for teachers to manage the class well so that students are enthusiastic and not bored and spur high creativity so that learning becomes effective. Ice breaking is present as a bridge in every lesson, both at the beginning of learning, in the middle of learning and at the end of the lesson
