Abstract

PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PELATIHAN LITERASI INFORMASI BERBASIS STANDAR LITERASI INFORMASI UNTUK PENDIDIKAN TINGGI ARMAN ABSTRAK Literasi informasi (LI) telah menjadi isu sentral masyarakat modern. Pesatnya pertumbuhan teknologi informasi dan munculnya perangkat-perangkat digital baru tidak hanya menuntut perubahan dalam konsep literasi informasi itu sendiri, tetapi juga dalam praktiknya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan model pelatihan literasi informasi (PLI) berbasis standar literasi informasi untuk pendidikan tinggi. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini mengkombinasikan model desain penelitian Plomp dan Nieveen dengan pendekatan The ADDIE. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Muhammadiyah Lampung. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, checklist, dan kuesioner. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini menghasilkan model PLI AS6 (menganalisis, memilih, mencari, mengurutkan, mensintesis, membagikan, dan evaluasi diri). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model PLI A6S layak diterapkan sebagai model pelatihan literasi informasi pada program orientasi perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Lampung berdasarkan: a) kecukupan sumberdaya pelatihan, b) hasil telaah pakar dengan rerata skor 3,93, dan c) persepsi pelatih dan mahasiswa terhadap aspek-aspek motivasi dengan rerata skor 3,82 dan 3,66 yang keseluruhannya menunjukkan kategori baik. Model PLI A6S efektif meningkatkan keterampilan IL mahasiswa berdasarkan rerata hasil posttest (59,92 < 72,50) dengan pengaruh sebesar 0,37 (berpengaruh sedang). Kata kunci: literasi informasi, desain instruksional, orientasi perpustakaan DEVELOPMENT OF INFORMATION LITERACY TRAINING MODEL BASED ON INFORMATION LITERACY COMPETENCY STANDARDS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION ARMAN ABSTRACT Information literacy (IL) has become a central issue of modern society. The rapid growth of information technology and the emergence of new digital devices not only require changes in the concept of information literacy itself, but also in practice. The purpose of this study was to develop an information literacy training (ILT) model for higher education. This research and development combined The Plomp and Nieveen research design model and The ADDIE approach. This research was conducted at the Islamic Faculty of Muhammadiyah University, Lampung. Data were collected through interviews, observations, checklists, and questionnaires. This research resulted in the AS6 ILT model (analyze, select, search, sort, synthesize, share, and self-evaluation). The findings of this study indicated that the A6S is feasible as an ILT model of library orientation program at Muhammadiyah University of Lampung based on a) the adequacy of training resources, b) the results of experts reviews with an average score of 3.93, and c) the trainers' and learners' perception on motivational aspects with average scores of 3.82 and 3.66, which all showed a good category, the AS6 ILT was effective in fostering students’ IL skills based on the pretest-posttest results (59.92 <72.50) with an effect size of 0.37 (moderate effect).
