Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan kecerdasan interpersonal dengan civic disposition pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 243 Jakarta. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode studi korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 243 Jakarta dengan sampel sebanyak 140 orang siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner melalui google formulir. Analisis data meliputi analisis deskriptif dan uji prasyarat analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara kecerdasan interpersonal dengan civic disposition yang menghasilkan F_hitung > F_tabel (228.030 > 3,91) dan nilai signifikansi yakni 0,000 < 0,05. Kontribusi variabel kecerdasan interpersonal terhadap civic disposition yaitu sebesar 62,3%. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil yaitu hubungan kecerdasan interpersonal dengan civic disposition mengandung pengertian bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam memahami dan berinteraksi secara efektif dengan orang lain berkaitan erat dengan karakter kewarganegaraan mereka sebagai warga negara yang baik. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between interpersonal intelligence and civic disposition among eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 243 Jakarta. The research design uses a quantitative approach with a correlational study method. The population in this study consists of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 243 Jakarta, with a sample size of 140 students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The data collection technique employed is a questionnaire administered through Google Forms. Data analysis includes descriptive analysis and prerequisite tests for analysis. The results of the study show that there is a positive relationship between interpersonal intelligence and civic disposition, indicated by F calculated > F table (228.030 > 3.91) and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The contribution of the interpersonal intelligence variable to civic disposition is 62.3%. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the relationship between interpersonal intelligence and civic disposition suggests that students' ability to understand and interact effectively with others is closely related to their citizenship character as good citizens.
