Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar sejarah siswa melalui Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan september 2023 sampai Maret 2024 di SMAN 12 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas XI-3 berjumlah 36 siswa. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terbagi menjadi dua siklus yang setiap siklusnya terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menjadi guru dan berkolaborasi dengan guru sejarah SMAN 12 Jakarta. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini, penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning dilaksanakan di siklus pertama dan dicukupkan di siklus kedua karena hasil belajar sejarah siswa kelas XI-3 SMAN 12 Jakarta telah meningkat dari rerata post test siklus 1 72,5 atau kategori belum tuntas ke kategori tuntas dengan rerata post test siklus 2 81,25. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran discovery learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar sejarah siswa kelas XI-3 SMAN 12 Jakarta. Kata Kunci: Discovery Learning, Hasil Belajar Sejarah, Model Pembelajaran ********** This research was conducted from January to February 2024 at SMAN 12 Jakarta to improve students learning outcomes. This research was carried out in grades XI-3 totaling 36 students. The method in this study uses Class Action Research which is divided into two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observation, and reflection. In this study, researchers became teachers and collaborated with history teacher of SMAN 12 Jakarta. In this study, the application of the discovery learning learning model was carried out in the first cycle and was sufficient in the second cycle because the historical learning outcomes of grade XI-3 students of SMAN 12 Jakarta have increased from the average post test cycle 1 72.5 or the incomplete category to the complete category with the average post test cycle 2 81.25. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the discovery learning learning model can improve the historical learning outcomes of grade XI-3 students of SMAN 12 Jakarta.
