Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi digital terhadap pencegahan hoaks di media sosial TikTok pada mahasiswa FIS UNJ angkatan 2020. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survey dan pendekatan kausal. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling total atau sensus dengan total sampel sebanyak 99 mahasiswa dari 11 program studi yang terdapat di FIS UNJ. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh lietrasi digital terhadap pencegahan hoaks di media sosial TikTok pada mahasiswa FIS UNJ angkatan 2020, yang didasarkan pada hasil perhitungan statistik uji hipotesis dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05 dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak yang berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara kedua variabel. Tingkat hubungan kedua variabel yang diketahui melalui nilai koefisien korelasi (rxy) dengan tabel korelasi sebesar 0,566 yang berarti bahwa tingkat hubungan kedua variabel adalah sedang serta angka koefisien korelasi pada kedua variabel juga mengarah pada hubungan yang positif atau searah. Kata Kunci: Literasi Digital, Pencegahan Hoaks, Media Sosial TikTok This research aims to determine the effect of digital literacy on preventing hoaxes on TikTok social media among FIS UNJ students class of 2020. The method used in this research is quantitative with a survey method and a causal approach. The sampling technique in this research used a total sampling technique or census with a total sample of 99 students from 11 study programs at FIS UNJ. The results of this research show that there is an influence of digital literacy on the prevention of hoaxes on TikTok social media among FIS UNJ students class of 2020, which is based on the results of statistical calculations of hypothesis testing with a significance value of 0.000 which is less than 0.05 and it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho rejected, which means that there is an influence between the two variables. The level of relationship between the two variables is known through the correlation coefficient (rxy) value with the correlation table of 0.566, which means that the level of relationship between the two variables is moderate and the correlation coefficient number for the two variables also leads to a positive or unidirectional relationship.
