Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengukur besar hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar IPS siswa Kelas IV SD Kecamatan Setiabudi pada tahun 2024 dengan 117 sampel yang merupakan seluruh siswa kelas IV di SDN Pasar Manggis 03 dan SDN Guntur 01 Pagi. Pendekatan dan metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling dengan model penelitian sederhana hubungan variabel X dengan variabel Y. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrument tes soal pilihan ganda dan kuesioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi product moment dan uji signifikansi korelasi (uji-t). berdasarkan perhitungan uji korelasi product moment diperoleh nilai r sebesar 0,278 dan uji-t diperoleh hasil thitung >ttabel (3,27 > 1,97). Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa hipotesis altenatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (h0) ditolak, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara motivasi belajar walaupun dengan tingkat derajat korelasi yang rendah. Perhitungan koefisien determinasi diperoleh sebesar 47,63% dimana hasil belajar IPS ditentukan oleh motivasi belajar, selebihnya sebesar 52,37% ditentukan oleh faktor lain. Oleh sebab itu, motivasi belajar perlu ditingkatkan dan ditanamkan pada diri siswa agar mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar pada diri siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. ***** This study aims to measure the relationship between learning motivation and social studies learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Setiabudi District in 2024 with 117 samples which are all fourth grade students at SDN Pasar Manggis 03 and SDN Guntur 01 Pagi. The research approach and methods used are quantitative approaches with correlational methods. Sampling using random sampling techniques with a simple research model of the relationship between variable X and variable Y. Data collection was carried out using multiple choice test instruments and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using the product moment correlation test and the correlation significance test (t-test). based on the calculation of the product moment correlation test, the r value of 0.278 was obtained and the t-test obtained the results of tcount> table (3.27> 1.97). These results show that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (h0) is rejected, so it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between learning motivation even with a low degree of correlation. Calculation of the coefficient of determination obtained by 47.63% where social studies learning outcomes determined by learning motivation, the remaining 52.37% determined by other factors. Therefore, learning motivation needs to be improved and instilled in students in order to improve learning outcomes in grade IV elementary school students.
