Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Pelaksanaan Bina Wicara Pembentukan Fonem Palatal pada Siswa Tunarungu di TKLB B Pangudi Luhur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan model Miles dan Huberman dengan alur reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan data. Subjek penelitian ini ialah guru wicara, guru kelas dan siswa TK 2B TKLB B Pangudi Luhur yang berjumlah 7 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pada tahap persiapan, guru memiliki target untuk jenjang TK 13 fonem terbentuk tanpa menentukan jenis fonem tersebut, kemudian guru kelas membuat laporan mingguan dan guru wicara membuat laporan harian yang berisi catatan wicara siswa. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, materi yang digunakan berasal dari percakapan siswa, guru menggunakan Metode Maternal Reflektif dan pendekatan Visual, Auditif, Kinestetis Taktil. Pada langkah pembentukannya dimulai dari pengecekan alat, pembentukan dan pembentulan fonem, penggemblengan, dan latihan mendengar. Pada penilaiannya, guru melakukan tes lisan dengan diberikan soal berupa tes kejelasan fonem, wicara bersambung, deteksi fonem, dan mendengar bunyi bahasa. Hasil tes tersebut yang dijadikan acuan guru untuk perencanaan pembelajaran selanjutnya. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukan faktor pendukung yaitu berasal dari siswa, kerjasama orangtua dan keahlian guru wicara, sedangkan faktor penghambatnya yaitu organ mulut siswa yang bermasalah dan tidak adanya kerjasama orangtua. Implikasi ini juga menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan bina wicara pembentukan fonem palatal pada siswa tunarungu bertujuan agar siswa tunarungu dapat bersosialisasi lebih luas di lingkungan masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Bina Wicara, Fonem Palatal, Guru Wicara dan Siswa Tunarungu ***** This research aims to describe the implementation of speech development for the formation of palatal phonemes among deaf students at TKLB B Pangudi Luhur. This research uses a qualitative approach with the Miles and Huberman model with a flow of data reduction, data presentation and data conclusions. The subjects of this research were speech teachers, class teachers and 7 students of TK 2B TKLB B Pangudi Luhur. The results of this research show that at the preparation stage the teacher has a target for the kindergarten level of 13 phonemes being formed without determining the type of phoneme, then the class teacher makes weekly reports and daily reports. At the implementation stage, the material used comes from student conversations, the teacher uses the Maternal Reflective Method and the Visual, Auditory, tactile kinesthetic approach. The formation steps start from checking the tools, forming and refining phonemes, training, and listening practice. In the assessment, the teacher carries out an oral test by giving questions in the form of phoneme clarity tests, cursive speech, phoneme detection, and hearing language sounds. The test results are used as a reference by the teacher for planning further learning. The results of this research also show that the supporting factors come from the students, parental cooperation and the expertise of the speech teacher, while the inhibiting factors are the students problematic oral organs and the absence of parental cooperation. This implication also shows that the implementation of speech development for the formation of palatal phonemes for the deaf aims to enable deaf students to socialize more widely in the community.
