Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh kualitas produk obi belt berbahan karung goni dengan hiasan melekatkan benang berdasarkan indikator dimensi kualitas produk dan prinsip desain. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan statistik deskriptif dengan desain penelitian pre-experimental design, one shot case study. Penelitian ini menghasilkan 5 produk obi belt berbahan karung goni dengan hiasan melekatkan benang yang dinilai oleh 5 panelis ahli dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kuisioner/angket campuran. Penilaian diukur menggunakan skala rating scale. Hasil penilaian produk pada indikator dimensi kualitas produk dinilai sangat baik, dengan nilai tertinggi diperoleh pada model 1 berdasarkan aspek kesesuaian kualitas, hal ini karena kualitas hiasan dan material, serta kualitas jahitan pada obi belt yang dinilai sangat baik. Nilai terendah terdapat pada aspek fitur diperoleh pada model 4 dan 5, hal tersebut karena fitur melekatkan benang masih perlu untuk dieksplor lagi, penggunaan motif seharusnya tidak hanya menggunakan satu jenis motif. Hasil penilaian produk pada indikator prinsip desain memperoleh hasil sangat baik. Nilai tertinggi pada model 3 berdasarkan aspek harmoni, hal ini karena penampilan obi belt dengan warna, bentuk, ukuran, dan tekstur pada desain obi belt dinilai memiliki keharmonisan atau bobot visual yang sama. Nilai terendah diperoleh pada model 5 berdasarkan aspek keseimbangan, hal ini karena motif melekatkan benang dengan desain produk obi belt masih kurang seimbang karena dalam penempatannya tidak memperhatikan jarak. This study aims to obtain the quality of obi belt products made of burlap sacks with decorations attached to threads based on product quality dimensional indicators and design principles. This research method uses descriptive statistics with a pre�experimental design, one shot case study. This study produced 5 obi belt products made of burlap sacks with decorations attached to threads which were assessed by 5 expert panelists with data collection techniques using a hybrid questionnaire instrument. Assessment is measured using a rating scale. The results of the product assessment on the product quality dimension indicator are considered very good, with the highest score obtained in model 1, this is because of the quality of decoration and materials, as well. The lowest value is found in the feature aspect obtained in models 4 and 5, this is because the feature of attaching threads still needs to be explored again. The results of product assessment on the design principle indicators obtained very good. The highest score on model 3 is based on the harmony aspect, this is because the appearance of the obi belt design is considered to have the same harmony or visual weight. The lowest score was obtained on model 5 based on the balance aspect, this is because the motif of attaching the thread with the design of the obi belt product is still not balanced because in its placement it does not pay attention to distance.
