Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses penanaman karakter tanggung jawab melalui Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah sumber data primer. Sumber data primer melalui observasi dan wawancara. Teknik kalibrasi keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi serta dilakukan analisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil temuan penelitian ini adalah guru menjadi fasilitator dalam proses belajar, guru juga memberikan stimulus mengenai materi yang akan diajarkan. Selanjutnya guru membentuk kelompok belajar yang dipilih secara acak. Dalam prosesnya, peserta didik dapat menggali informasi dan berargumentasi satu sama lain. Lalu, peserta didik memaparkan hasil temuannya di depan kelas. Dalam hal ini peserta didik dapat bertanggung jawab kepada diri sendiri, dan juga kepada kelompok belajar. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan penelitian yang dikemukakan, dapat diambil sebuah kesimpulan bahwa proses penanaman karakter tanggung jawab dilalui oleh guru melalui indikator atau tahapan model pembelajaran PBL serta tumbuhnya kemampuan peserta didik dalam menemukan cara untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang terjadi dalam proses belajar mengajar membuat peserta didik menanamkan karakter tanggung jawab. Hal itu terlihat dari peserta didik yang selalu berdiskusi dan saling berargumentasi dalam mengerjakan tugas dan bekerja kelompok. Hal tersebut juga didukung oleh motivasi yang datang dari guru serta peserta didik itu sendiri. ***** The purpose of this study was to determine how the process of instilling the character of responsibility through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model in the Subject of Pancasila and Civics Education. Pancasila and Citizenship Education Subjects. This research uses a qualitative approach and uses descriptive methods. The data source used is primary data source. Primary data sources through observation and interviews. The data validity calibration technique uses triangulation and is analysed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this research are that the teacher becomes a facilitator in the learning process, the teacher also provides a stimulus regarding the material to be taught. Furthermore, the teacher forms a randomly selected study group. In the process, students can explore information and argue with each other. Then, learners present their findings in front of the class. In this case, learners can be responsible to themselves, and also to the learning group. Based on the results and discussion of the research presented, it can be concluded that the process of instilling the character of responsibility is passed by the teacher through indicators or stages of the PBL learning model and the growth of students' ability to find ways to solve problems that occur in the teaching and learning process. The teaching and learning process makes students instil the character of responsibility. It can be seen from students who always discuss and argue with each other in doing assignments and working in groups. This is also supported by the motivation that comes from the teacher and the learners themselves.
