Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Menganalisis kebutuhan media pembelajaran Big Book, (2) Merancang model media pembelajaran Big Book, (3) Membuat dan menghasilkan produk berupa media pembelajaran Big Book, (4) Melakukan implementasi media pembelajaran Big Book untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca Al-Qur’an, (5) Mengevaluasi kendala, solusi serta kelemahan dan kelebihan yang terdapat pada media pembelajaran Big Book. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Develompent (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Tahap Analysis, melakukan analisis untuk mengetahui permasalahan serta kebutuhan dalam pembelajaran. Tahap Design, membuat rancangan model media pembelajaran. Tahap Development, mengembangkan media pembelajaran dengan melakukan uji validasi oleh para ahli. Tahap Implementation, mengetahui tanggapan guru dan uji coba pada siswa dengan pretest sebelum menggunakan media Big Book dan posttest setelah menggunakan media Big Book. Tahap Evaluation, mengevaluasi dan merevisi media pembelajaran sesuai data validasi para ahli. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelompok B TPQ Nuurul Falah yang berjumlah 10 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 52% dari 100% sedangkan rata-rata nilai posttest sebesar 92% dari 100%. Adapun nilai interval normalized Gain yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 0,82 atau dalam presentase yaitu 82% yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi sehingga media pembelajaran Big Book dapat dikatakan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca Al-Qur’an pada hukum bacaan nun sukun dan tanwin. ***** This research aims to determine: (1) the needs analysis of Big Book learning media, (2) the design of the Big Book learning media model, (3) the creation and production of Big Book learning media, (4) the implementation of Big Book learning media to improve Qur'anic reading skills, (5) the evaluation of constraints, solutions, and the strengths and weaknesses of the Big Book learning media. This research is of the Research and Development (R&D) type with the ADDIE model. In the Analysis stage, an analysis is conducted to determine the problems and needs in learning. In the Design stage, a model design for the learning media is created. In the Development stage, the learning media is developed by conducting validation tests by experts. In the Implementation stage, teachers' feedback is collected and trials are conducted on students with a pretest before using the Big Book media and a posttest after using the Big Book media. In the Evaluation stage, the learning media is evaluated and revised according to expert validation data. The subjects of this research are 10 students in group B at TPQ Nuurul Falah. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out both qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the research show that: the average pretest score is 52% out of 100%, while the average posttest score is 92% out of 100%. The normalized gain value obtained is 0.82, or 82% in percentage, which is categorized as high, indicating that the Big Book learning media is effective in improving Qur'anic reading skills in the rules of nun sukun and tanwin.
