Abstract
Tata rias wajah merupakan hal penting dalam industri pariwisata, di mana penampilan yang menarik dan presentasi diri merupakan faktor yang mendukung terhadap kesuksesan profesional. Mahasiswi diharapkan mampu merias wajah untuk menunjang penampilan mereka di dunia pariwisata, hal ini mendorong mahasiswi untuk mencari informasi dan belajar secara mandiri, salah satunya melalui video beauty vlogger di YouTube. Kehadiran beauty vlogger membawa era baru dalam dunia kecantikan, mempengaruhi opini dan keterampilan mahasiswi melalui video yang diunggah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh beauty vlogger “X” terhadap perilaku tata rias wajah mahasiswi (studi pada Program Studi Usaha Perjalanan Wisata Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Jakarta). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif kausalitas dan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Populasi pada mahasiswi angkatan 2020-2022 sebanyak 132 orang maka didapatkan jumlah sampel penelitian sebesar 57 orang. Data diperoleh berdasarkan penyebaran kuesioner yang kemudian diolah menggunakan Uji Regresi Linear Sederhana. Berdasarkan Uji Regresi Linear Sederhana menunjukkan Y= 17,322 + 0,601X dimana beauty vlogger sebesar 0,601 yang berarti setiap kenaikan maka perilaku tata rias wajah mahasiswi bertambah 0,601 dan nilai uji t dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Maka hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak dan (Ha) diterima yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh beauty vlogger “X” terhadap perilaku tata rias wajah mahasiswi dengan besarnya kontribusi koefisien determinasi (R2) 0,569 yang berarti bahwa variabel beauty vlogger “X” berperan sebesar 56,9% pada perilaku tata rias wajah mahasiswi. Sisanya sebesar 43,1% dipengaruhi oleh variabel atau faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.***** Makeup is important in the tourism industry, where attractive appearance and self presentation are factors that support professional success. Students are expected to be able to apply makeup to support their appearance in the world of tourism, this encourages female students to seek information and learn independently, one of which is through beauty vlogger videos on YouTube. The presence of beauty vloggers brings a new era in the beauty world, influencing the opinions and skills of female students through uploaded videos. This study aims to determine the effect of beauty vlogger “X” on the makeup behavior of female students (study on Travel Business Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Jakarta State University). The research method used is causality quantitative research and the sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The population in the 2020-2022 batch of female students was 132 people, the number of research samples was obtained as many as 57 people. The data was obtained based on the distribution questionnaires which were then processed using the Simple Linear Regression Test. Based on the simple linear regression test, it shows Y=17,322+0,601X where the beauty vloggers in 0,601, which means that every increase in the makeup behavior of female students increases by 0,601 and the t test value with a significance level of 0,000<0,05. Then the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and (Ha) is accepted which states that there is an influence of beauty vlogger “X” on the makeup behavior of female students with the contribution of the coefficients of determination (R2) 0,569, which means that the beauty vlogger variable “X” plays a role of 56,9% in the makeup behavior of female students. The remaining 43,1% is influenced by other variables or factors not examined in this study.
