Abstract
Pencemaran dan kerusakan lingkungan berdampak negatif bagi makhluk hidup yang ada di dalamnya. Bersama dengan aturan perundang-undangan, hal ini membuat masyarakat lebih sadar akan lingkungan sekitarnya, sehingga terjadi pergeseran pola konsumsi masyarakat menjadi lebih ramah lingkungan. Sebagai salah satu industri dengan tingkat pertumbuhan yang tinggi, pelaku industri kosmetik mulai mengintegrasikan prinsip green cosmetic pada produknya untuk menyasar konsumen yang sadar lingkungan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kesadaran lingkungan mahasiswa Tata Rias UNJ terhadap minat beli produk green cosmetic. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan asosiatif kausal dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias UNJ angkatan 2021-2023 yang telah mengikuti Mata Kuliah Pengantar Ilmu Lingkungan Keluarga sebanyak 55 orang. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dari hasil uji korelasi didapatkan nilai r hitung 0,715 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, dari uji t didapatkan hasil t hitung 7,444 > 2,006, dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 51,1% dan disimpulkan bahwa kesadaran lingkungan mahasiswa Tata Rias UNJ mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap minat beli produk green cosmetic. Together with government regulations, these make people more aware of their environment, resulting in a shift in people's consumption patterns to become more environmentally friendly. As an industry with a high growth rate, cosmetics industry is starting to integrate green cosmetic principles into their products to target environmentally conscious consumers. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of UNJ Cosmetology students' environmental awareness on their interest in purchasing green cosmetic products. The research method used is causal associative with a quantitative approach. The sample of this research is State University of Jakarta Cosmetology Education Students class of 2021-2023 that has taken Introduction to Family Ecology Course with total of 55 respondents. The results of this research are from the results of the correlation test obtained a calculated r value of 0.715 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, from the t test obtained a calculated t result of 7.444 > 2.006, and a coefficient of determination of 51.1% and it was concluded that environmental awareness of State University of Jakarta Cosmetology students had a significant influence on interested in buying green cosmetic products.
