Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menemukan model pengaruh perceived organizational suppot, supportive leadership, dan core self evaluation terhadap prison officer voice behaviour yang dimediasi oleh work engagement pada Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas I di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksplanatif kuantitatif yang dilakukan terhadap seluruh petugas Lapas di seluruh Lapas Kelas I di Indonesia. Hipotesis empiris diuji dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak statistik AMOS 2.4. Pengujian hipotesis ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan data empiris yang diperoleh dari hasil jawaban kuesioner dari petugas yang berada di 13 Lapas Kelas I di Indonesia dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 270 orang di Lapas Kelas I di Indonesia. Penentuan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu diperoleh sampel mempergunakan kriteria tertentu. Sampel petugas pemasyarakatan dengan kriteria petugas pemasyarakatan di seluruh Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas I di Indonesia yang melaksanakan pekerjaannya di Lembaga Pemasyarakatannya masing-masing dan dipantau langsung oleh pimpinan atau atasan dalam mengerjakan tugas dan fungsinya sehari-hari. Hasil uji kesesuaian model struktural menunjukkan model struktural sudah dapat diterima. Hasil penelitian ini menambah keterbatasan literatur dan memberikan bukti empiris mengenai prison officer voice behaviour dengan variabel work engagement baik secara langsung maupun melalui variabel perceived organizational support, supoortive leadhership, dan core self evaluation. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan novelty adanya mediasi penuh dari work engagement dalam pengaruh perceived organizational support terhadap prison officer voice behaviour. Sementara itu, mediasi parsial work engagement terjadi dalam pengaruh supportive leadership, dan core self evaluation terhadap prison officer voice behaviour. THE ROLE OF WORK ENGAGEMENT IN MEDIATION THE EFFECT OF PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT, SUPPORTIVE LEADERSHIP, AND CORE SELF EVALUATION ON PRISON OFFICER BEHAVIOR IN CLASS ONE PRISONS IN INDONESIA Abstract This study was conducted to find a model of the effect of perceived organizational support, supportive leadership, and core self-evaluation on prison officer voice behavior, mediated by work engagement at Class I correctional institutions in Indonesia. This research is a quantitative explanatory study conducted on all prison officers in all Class I prisons in Indonesia. Empirical hypotheses were tested using AMOS 24 statistical software. This hypothesis testing was carried out using empirical data obtained from questionnaire responses from officers in 13 Class I prisons in Indonesia, with a total sample of 270 people. The research sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique, which involves selecting samples based on specific criteria. The sample consisted of correctional officers in all Class I correctional institutions in Indonesia who perform their duties in their respective institutions and are directly monitored by their superiors in their daily tasks. The results of the structural model fit test show that the structural model is acceptable. This study adds to the literature by providing empirical evidence regarding prison officer voice behavior with work engagement variables, either directly or through the variables of perceived organizational support, supportive leadership, and core self-evaluation. The results of this study found the novelty of full mediation of work engagement in the influence of perceived organizational support on prison officer voice behavior. Meanwhile, partial mediation of work engagement occurs in the influence of supportive leadership and core self-evaluation on prison officer voice behavior.
