Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh penilaian estetika motif hiasan dengan teknik surface textile pada jaket bomber yang dinilai oleh 5 panelis ahli berdasarkan teori estetika A.A.M Djelantik meliputi indikator wujud/rupa, bobot/isi, dan penampilan/penyajian. Sub indikator wujud/rupa yang meliputi penerapan unsur desain bentuk,warna, tekstur, dan ukuran. Sub indikator bobot/isi yang meliputi gagasan sumber inspirasi. Sub indikator penampilan/penyajian yang meliputi penerapan prinsip desain proporsi, pusat perhatian, dan harmoni. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pre-experimental design, one shot case study. Penilaian diukur menggunakan rating scale. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan variabel angket yang diberikan kepada 5 panelis ahli untuk menilai, dengan variabel tunggal yaitu penilaian estetika motif hiasan dengan teknik surface textile pada jaket bomber. Hasil penilaian dari kelima desain produk motif hiasan dengan teknik surface textile pada jaket bomber secara keseluruhan berdasarkan indikator wujud/rupa, bobot/isi, dan penampilan/penyajian memperoleh skor tertinggi dengan nilai 93% dengan kategori sangat baik. Aspek estetika yang memperoleh skor tertinggi adalah aspek penampilan/penyajian dengan perolehan skor 97,5% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Sedangkan produk yang memperoleh nilai tertinggi adalah produk 5 dengan perolehan skor 94,25% yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik dan nilai terendah diperoleh desain 1 dengan perolehan skor 91,5% dengan kategori sangat baik. Kata Kunci : Surface Textile, ubur-ubur, sustainable fashion, upcycle. ***** This study aims to obtain an aesthetic assessment of decorative motifs with surface textile techniques on bomber jackets which were assessed by 5 expert panelists based on A.A.M Djelantik's aesthetic theory including indicators of form/appearance, weight/content, and appearance/presentation. The sub-indicator of form/appearance includes the application of design elements of shape, color, texture, and size. The weight/content sub-indicator includes the idea of a source of inspiration. Appearance/presentation sub-indicators which include the application of the design principles of proportion, center of attention, and harmony. This research method uses quantitative descriptive research design with a pre-experimental design, one shot case study. Ratings are measured using a rating scale. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire variable given to 5 expert panelists to assess, with a single variable being the assessment of the aesthetics of decorative motifs with the surface textile technique on bomber jackets. The results of the assessment of the five decorative motif product designs with surface textile techniques on the bomber jacket as a whole based on the indicators of form/appearance, weight/content, and appearance/presentation obtained the highest score with a score of 93% with the category of very good. The aesthetic aspect that received the highest score was the appearance/presentation aspect with a score of 97,5% which was included in the very good category. Meanwhile, the product that received the highest score was product 5 with a score of 94,25% which was included in the very good category and the lowest score was obtained design 1 with a score of 91,5% in the very good category.
