Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran berupa video motion graphic “Tumbuh-Tumbuhan dan Fungsinya” untuk peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Produk ini dikembangkan sebagai bahan belajar pendukung untuk kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Semester 1. Video motion graphic yang dihasilkan berjumlah 2 buah yang masing-masing berdurasi 5-7 menit. Video motion graphic yang pertama membahas mengenai bagian-bagian tubuh tumbuhan dan fungsinya, serta video yang kedua membahas mengenai proses fotosintesis. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan Hannafin & Peck yang terdiri dari 3 fase yaitu fase analisis kebutuhan, fase desain, fase pengembangan dan implementasi, serta evaluasi di setiap tahapannya. Evaluasi formatif dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap yaitu Expert Review oleh ahli materi, ahli desain pembelajaran, dan ahli media. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji coba pengguna yaitu peserta didik kelas IV SDN Bunikasih 2 Cianjur dengan tahap one to one yang melibatkan 3 peserta didik dan small group yang melibatkan 6 peserta didik dengan dibagi 2 kelompok. Berdasarkan hasil data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian pengembangan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa video motion graphic “Tumbuh-Tumbuhan dan Fungsinya” dinyatakan baik dan layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pendukung pembelajaran. ***** This development research aims to produce learning media products in the form of motion graphic videos "Plants and Their Functions" for class IV elementary school students. This product was developed as supporting learning material for class IV Elementary School Semester 1. The resulting motion graphic videos are 2, each with a duration of 5-7 minutes. The first motion graphic video discusses the parts of the plant body and their functions, and the second video discusses the process of photosynthesis. The development model used in this research is the Hannafin & Peck development model which consists of 3 phases, namely the needs analysis phase, design phase, development and implementation phase, and evaluation at each stage. Formative evaluation is carried out in several stages, namely Expert Review by material experts, learning design experts and media experts. Next, a user trial was carried out, namely class IV students at SDN Bunikasih 2 Cianjur with a one to one stage involving 3 students and a small group involving 6 students divided into 2 groups. Based on the results of the data obtained in this development research, it can be concluded that the motion graphic video "Plants and Their Functions" is declared good and suitable for use as learning support media.
