Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data hasil penilaian estetika produk crop top upcycle celana denim pada aspek wujud/rupa, bobot/isi, penampilan/penyajian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pre-experimental design dengan jenis one shot case study dan teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan 5 produk crop top upcycle celana denim yang dinilai oleh 5 panelis dengan teknik pengumpulan data instrumen kuesioner/angket campuran. Penilaian diukur menggunakan rating scale. Hasil penelitian pada keseluruhan aspek wujud/rupa, bobot/isi dan penampilan/penyajian yaitu 88,2% dengan kategori sangat baik. Nilai tertinggi diperoleh aspek penampilan/penyajian (keterampilan/skill) yaitu 92% dengan kategori sangat baik. Selanjutnya nilai tertinggi kedua diperoleh pada aspek bobot/isi (gagasan/idea) yaitu 89,30% dengan kategori sangat baik. Nilai terendah diperoleh pada aspek wujud/rupa (unsur desain dan prinsip desain) yaitu 87,46% dengan kategori sangat baik. Nilai akhir tertinggi berdasarkan desain produk crop top yaitu pada desain 2 dengan nilai 88,50% dengan kategori sangat baik dan nilai akhir terendah pada desain 5 yaitu 87% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil keseluruhan produk crop top upcycle celana denim dinyatakan mampu memenuhi nilai estetika yang mengacu pada unsur desain dan prinsip desain dengan menerapkan gagasan/konsep ucpcycle menggunakan material celana denim yang memiliki kerusakan dan keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan kain sisa produksi dari produk crop top dengan menerapkan sistem sustainability less waste. Kata Kunci : Estetika, Crop Top, Upcycle, Celana Denim, Ruffle *** ABSTRACT This research aims to obtain the results of the aesthetic assessment of crop top upcycle denim pants products in the form/appearance, weight/content, appearance/presentation aspects. The research method used is pre-experimental design with a one shot case study type and data analysis techniques used descriptive statistics. This research produced 5 crop top upcycle denim pants products which were assessed by 5 panelists using a mixed questionnaire/questionnaire instrument data collection technique. Assessment is measured using a rating scale. The research results on all aspects of form/appearance, weight/content and appearance/presentation were 88.2% in the very good category. The highest score was obtained in the appearance/presentation (skills) aspect with a score 92% in the very good category. The second highest score was obtained in the weight/content (idea) aspect with a score 89.30% in the very good category. The lowest score was obtained in the form/appearance aspect (design elements and design principles) with a score 87.46% in the very good category. The highest final score based on the crop top product design is design 2 with a score 88.50% in the very good category and the lowest final score is design 5 with a score 87% in the very good category. The overall results of crop top upcycle denim pants products are stated to be able to meet aesthetics value that refer to design elements and design principles by applying upcycle ideas/concepts using denim pants material that has damage and skills in utilizing fabric from production of crop top products by applying less waste sustainability system.
