Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh hasil penilaian produk berdasarkan teori produk WH. Mayall pada aspek hasil yang maksimal, bentuk yang beragam, dan penampilan yang menarik. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif pre-experimental design, dengan jenis penelitian one shot case study. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistic deskriptif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan 5 produk ready to wear dari bahan lurik kombinasi anyaman yang dinilai oleh 5 panelis dengan teknik pengumpulan data instrument kuesioner/angket campuran. Penilaian diukur menggunakan rating scale. Hasil penelitian pada keseluruhan aspek hasil yang maksimal, bentuk yang beragam, dan penampilan yang menarik yaitu 80,15% dengan kategori sangat baik. Selanjutnya nilai tertinggi diperoleh pada aspek hasil yang maksimal (proses pengerjaan yang teliti dan proses finshing hingga quality control) yaitu 83,04% dengan kategori sangat baik. Nilai tertinggi kedua diperoleh aspek penampilan yang menarik (bentuk produk dan prinsip desain) yaitu 79,36% dengan kategori baik. Nilai terendah diperoleh pada aspek bentuk yang beragam yaitu 77,60% dengan kategori baik. Nilai akhir tertinggi berdasarkan desain produk ready to wear yaitu pada desain 4 dengan hasil nilai 84,76 % dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil nilai terendah pada desain 5 yaitu 77,52% dengan kategori baik. Hasil keseluruhan produk ready to wear dari bahan lurik kombinasi anyaman mampu memenuhi penilaian prinsip total dimensi karakteristik produk yang mengacu pada unsur dan prinsip desain dengan menerapkan standarisasi karakteristik produk Kata Kunci: Karakteristik produk, kain lurik, busana ready to wear, teknik anyaman. ***** This study aims to obtain the results of product assessment based on WH. Mayall's product theory in the aspects of maximum results, diverse forms, and attractive appearance. This research method uses descriptive quantitative pre-experimental design, with the type of research one shot case study. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics. This study produced 5 ready to wear products from woven combination striated materials which were assessed by 5 panelists with a mixed questionnaire / questionnaire instrument data collection technique. The assessment was measured using a rating scale. The results of the research on the overall aspects of maximum results, diverse shapes, and attractive appearance were 80.15% in the very good category. Furthermore, the highest value was obtained in the aspect of maximum results (meticulous workmanship and finshing process to quality control), namely 83.04% with a very good category. The second highest score was obtained in the aspect of attractive appearance (product shape and design principles), namely 79.36% in the good category. The lowest score was obtained in the aspect of diverse shapes, which was 77.60% in the good category. The highest final score based on ready to wear product design is in design 4 with a score of 84.76% in the very good category. The lowest score in design 5 is 77.52% in the good category. The overall results of ready to wear products from woven combination striated materials are able to fulfill the principle assessment of the total dimensions of the characteristics of the product.
