Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data penilaian estetika terhadap lima kebaya kutubaru modifikasi dengan style casual yang diukur menggunakan aspek wujud atau rupa penerapan unsur desain, bobot atau isi dan penampilan atau penyajian penerapan prinsip desain berdasarkan teori estetika menurut A.A.M Djelantik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan pre-experimental design, one-shot case study. Instrumen berupa angket yang terdiri dari 20 pernyataan dengan skala pengukuran rating scale yang diajukan kepada 5 panelis ahli dalam bidangnya. Hasil data penilaian terhadap kebaya kutubaru modifikasi berdasarkan ketiga aspek dinyatakan dalam kategori sangat baik, dengan aspek penampilan atau penyajian yang mendapatkan nilai tertinggi 88,33, dan aspek wujud atau rupa dengan nilai terendah 82,4. Sementara diurutan kedua terdapat aspek bobot atau isi dengan kategori sangat baik dengan nilai 84,5, sesuai dengan teori estetika Djelantik. Dari data penilaian estetika terhadap kebaya kutubaru dengan style casual berdasarkan ketiga aspek tersebut diperoleh hasil yang sangat baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa aspek estetika wujud atau rupa, bobot atau isi dan penapilan atau penampilan atau penyajian sudah baik dalam penerapannya pada kebaya kutubaru yang dimodifikasi dengan style casual. ***** This research aims to gather aesthetic assessment data on five modified Kutubaru kebayas with casual style, measured using aspects of design form, weight, and presentation based on the aesthetic theory by A.A.M Djelantik. The research method employed is descriptive quantitative with a pre-experimental design approach, specifically a one-shot case study. The instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of 20 statements rated on a scale, administered to 5 expert panelists in the field.The evaluation data on modified Kutubaru kebayas based on the three aspects were categorized as excellent, with the presentation aspect receiving the highest score 88,33 and the form aspect the lowest score with 82,4. Following closely was the weight aspect, also categorized as excellent with score 84,5, consistent with Djelantik's aesthetic theory.The aesthetic assessment data indicates that the form, weight, and presentation aspects of Kutubaru kebayas in casual style received excellent ratings. This suggests that the application of aesthetic form, weight, and presentation in modified Kutubaru kebayas with casual style.
