Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data penilaian estetika terhadap lima produk penerapan batik Banten Srimanganti pada busana ready to wear menggunakan Hanbok. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan pre-experimental design, one shot case study. Instrumen angket terdiri dari 18 pernyataan dengan skala pengukuran rating scale yang diberikan kepada 5 panelis ahli di bidangnya. Penilaian yang dilakukan menggunakan teori estetika menurut Dharsono (2007) terdiri dari prinsip desain dan asas desain yang meliputi 5 aspek yaitu, harmoni garis dan bentuk, paduan kontras, kesatuan (unity), keseimbangan (balance), dan proporsi. Dari hasil data penilaian terhadap penerapan batik Banten Srimanganti pada busana ready to wear menggunakan hanbok berdasarkan 5 aspek tersebut diperoleh nlai 94,3 dengan kategori sangat bagus. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa aspek harmoni garis dan bentuk, paduan kontras, kesatuan (unity), keseimbangan (balance), dan proporsi sudah bagus dalam penerapannya pada busana ready to wear menggunakan hanbok. Melalui penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu sumber ilmu mengenai penerapan batik Banten Srimanganti pada busana ready to wear menggunakan hanbok sebagai sumber inspirasi dalam pembuatan busana ready to wear. ***** This research aims to obtain aesthetic assessment data on five products applying Banten Srimanganti batik to ready-to-wear clothing using a hanbok. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with a pre�experimental design approach, one shot case study. The questionnaire instrument consists of 18 statements with a rating scale measurement scale given to 5 expert panelists in their fields. The assessment carried out using aesthetic theory according to Dharsono (2007) consists of design principles and design principles which include 5 aspects, namely, harmony of lines and shapes, blend of contrast, unity, balance and proportion. From the results of the assessment data on the application of Banten Srimanganti batik to ready to wear clothing using a hanbok based on these 5 aspects, a score of 94.3 was obtained in the very good category. This shows that the aspects of harmony of lines and shapes, combination of contrast, unity, balance and proportion are good in their application to ready-to-wear clothing using the hanbok. Through this research, it is hoped that it can become a source of knowledge regarding the application of Banten Srimanganti batik to ready-to-wear clothing using the hanbok as a source of inspiration in making ready-to-wear clothing.
