Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan adanya pengaruh father involvement terhadap internalizing problem remaja di Sekolah Menengah Atas/Sederajat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ), Nurturant Father Involvement (NFI), dan Reported Father Involvement (RFI). Sampel yang digunakan sejumlah 502 responden dengan teknik convenience sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu uji regresi linear berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan father involvement terhadap internalizing problem dengan p-value < 0,05. Pengaruh yang diberikan sebesar 0,109 atau 10,9%. Pengaruh yang terjalin antara kedua variabel bernilai negatif. Semakin tinggi father involvement maka akan semakin rendah internalizing problem pada remaja, dan sebaliknya jika semakin rendah father involvement maka akan semakin tinggi internalizing problem pada remaja. ***** This research aims to prove the influence of father involvement on internalizing problems of adolescents in senior high school. This research is quantitative research. The measuring instruments used in this research are Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ), Nurturant Father Involvement (NFI), and Reported Father Involvement (RFI). The sample used was 502 respondents using convenience sampling technique. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression tests. The results of this research show a significant influence of father involvement on internalizing problems with a p-value < 0,05. The influence given is 0,109 or 10,9%. The influence that exists between the two variables is negative. The higher the father involvement, the lower the internalizing problems in adolescents, and conversely, the lower the father involvement, the higher the internalizing problems in adolescents.
