Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi prestasi akademik mahasiswa di Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Jakarta pada angkatan tahun 2020 dan 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan indeks prestasi kumulatif (IPK) sebagai metrik utama untuk menilai perkembangan prestasi akademik mahasiswa selama masa studi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara prestasi akademik mahasiswa, yang diukur melalui IPK, dengan tingkat dukungan sosial dan self-efficacy yang mereka terima. Dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin, sampel yang diperoleh adalah sebanyak 319 responden dengan tingkat kesalahan 5%. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang melibatkan analisis grafik, tabel, dan statistik untuk menyelidiki subjek secara objektif dan metodis. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah survei. Dalam penelitian ini, kuesioner berbasis formulir dengan skala Likert 1-5 digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Analisis data dimulai dengan analisis deskriptif, diikuti oleh uji prasyarat analisis (normalitas dan linearitas), uji regresi berganda, uji hipotesis (uji T dan F), serta uji multikolinieritas dan heteroskedastisitas, serta analisis koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya korelasi yang kuat dan positif antara prestasi akademik, dukungan sosial dan self-efficacy. Berdasarkan hasil uji F, nilai F hitung sebesar 213,815 lebih besar dari F tabel sebesar 3,07. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa seiring dengan meningkatnya dukungan sosial dan self-efficacy mahasiswa, prestasi akademik mereka juga meningkat. ***** This study evaluates the academic performance of students at the Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta in the class of 2020 and 2021. This study uses the cumulative grade point average (GPA) as the main metric to assess the development of students' academic performance during the study period. The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between students' academic performance, as measured by GPA, and the level of social support and self-efficacy they receive. Using the Slovin formula, a sample size of 319 respondents was obtained with a 5% error rate. This study used a quantitative approach that involved analyzing graphs, tables, and statistics to investigate the subject objectively and methodically. The methodology used was a survey. In this study, a form-based questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1-5 was used to collect data. Data analysis began with descriptive analysis, followed by prerequisite analysis tests (normality and linearity), multiple regression tests, hypothesis tests (T and F tests), as well as multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity tests, and coefficient of determination analysis. The results showed a strong and positive correlation between academic achievement, social support and self-efficacy. Based on the results of the F test, the calculated F value of 213.815 is greater than the F table of 3.07. This finding indicates that as students' social support and self-efficacy increase, their academic performance also increases.
