Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang evaluasi program ekstrakurikuler olahraga di Sekolah dasar Kecamatan Setu Kota Tangerang selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mix method yang menggabungkan penelitian kualitatif dan penelitian kuantitatif sebagai metode ilmiah yang sering digunakan sekelompok peneliti di bidang pendidikan. Metode penelitian kualitatif dilakukan pada subjek sekolah dan pelatih atau pembina ekstrakurikuler sedangkan pendekatan kuantitatif dilakukan pada subjek siswa. Populasi penelitian yaitu sejumlah sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Setu Kota Tangerang Selatan sebanyak 15 sekolah. Subjek penelitian akan dilakukan pada satuan pendidikan dalam hal ini kepala sekolah juga pihak yang terlibat dalam masukan, proses dan hasil dari kegiatan ekstrakurikuler: yaitu melibatkan guru, pembina ekstrakurikuler, pelatih serta peserta didik yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler olahraga. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan wawancara, kuesioner serta lembar observasi. ********* The general aim of this research is to obtain information about the evaluation of extracurricular sports programs in elementary schools in Setu District, South Tangerang City. This research uses a mix method approach which combines qualitative research and quantitative research as a scientific method that is often used by groups of researchers in the field of education. Qualitative research methods were carried out on school subjects and extracurricular trainers or coaches, while quantitative approaches were carried out on student subjects. The research population was a number of elementary schools in Setu District, South Tangerang City, totaling 15 schools. The research subjects will be carried out in educational units, in this case the school principal as well as parties involved in the input, process and results of extracurricular activities: namely involving teachers, extracurricular coaches, coaches and students who take part in extracurricular sports activities. The research instruments used interviews, questionnaires and observation sheets.
