Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh hasil penilaian estetika handbag kerajinan tangan berbahan dasar kulit jagung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode Eksperimen jenis pre-eksperimental dengan desain one-shot case study pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen angket yang diberikan kepada 5 penelis ahli untuk menilai, dengan variable tunggal yaitu penilaian estetika handbag kerajinan tangan berbahan dasar kulit jagung serta indikator berupa Wujud atau rupa dan bobot atau isi. Penilaian diukur dengan rating scale. Hasil penelitian pada indikator bobot atau isi memperoleh skor tertinggi dengan nilai 96%, hal ini mengartikan bahwa berdasarkan aspek bobot atau isi hand bag sudah menerapkan gagasan ide berupa penerapan kesesuaian sumber inspirasi terhadap produk dengan kategori sangat bagus. Pada urutan kedua, indikator wujud atau rupa mendapat nilai 95,84% yang mengartikan bahwa hand bag sudah menerapkan aspek wujud atau rupa yang meliputi penerapan bentuk, ukuran, warna, tekstur, keutuhan atau kesatuan, harmoni, keseimbangan, serta proporsi yang telah sesuai. Penilaian ditampilkan secara keseluruhan aspek pada hand bag kerajinan tangan berbahan dasar kulit jagung. Kata Kunci : Estetika, hand bag, kerajinan tangan, kulit jagung ***** This study was conducted to assess the aesthetic of the Handcrafted Handbags Made from Cornhusk Research method using quantitative descriptive with pre-eksperimental design, one-shot case study model. Data collecting technique using questionnaire which given to 5 experts to assess, with single variable namely the aesthetic of the Handcrafted Handbags Made from Cornhusk, as well as indicators including form or appearance and weight or content. The assessment is measured with rating scale. The results of the study on the weight or content obtained the highest score with a value of 96%, indicating that the hand bag has effectively applied the concept idea of aligning inspirational sources with the product category, which is very good result. in the second place, the form or appearance indicators scored 95,84% with very good result, because it has implemented form or appearance which includes the application of appropriate shape, size, color, texture, wholeness or unity, harmony, balance and proportion.
