Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh academic stress terhadap academic dishonesty yang dimediasi oleh academic self-efficacy pada mahasiswa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan metode analisis Multivariant Path Analysis memakai software JASP. Academic Dishonesty Scale (ADS), Academic Stress Inventory, dan Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) merupakan instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data. Sampel penelitian ini memiliki kriteria mahasiswa aktif D3, D4, S1, S2, dan S3 dengan jumlah sampel 453 dan setelah cleansing data terdapat 406 sampel yang digunakan. Teknik pengumpulan sampel menggunakan convenience sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari academic stress terhadap academic dishonesty melalui mediator academic self- efficacy. ***** This study aims to examine the effect of academic stress on academic dishonesty mediated by academic self-efficacy among Indonesian students. The research employs a quantitative method with Multivariate Path Analysis using JASP software. The instruments used for data collection include the Academic Dishonesty Scale (ADS), the Academic Stress Inventory developed, and the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ). The research sample consists of active D3, D4, S1, S2, and S3 students, with a total sample size of 453. After data cleansing, 406 samples were used. The sampling technique employed was convenience sampling. The results of the study indicate that there is no significant effect of academic stress on academic dishonesty through the mediator of academic self-efficacy.
