Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pemahaman materi gotong royong pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan karakter gotong royong siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian ini9 dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari-Maret 2024. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri yang berada di Kecamatan Solear Kabupaten Tangerang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling dan diperoleh 3 sekolah yaitu SDN Cikuya IV, SDN Cireundeu II, dan SDN CIkareo I dengan total sampel sebanyak 147 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode korerasional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji persyaratan analisis dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pemahaman materi gotong royong pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan karakter gotong royong siswa. Dengan nilai rhitung = 0,311 dan termasuk kategori rendah serta berkontribusi sebesar 9,67% dimana karakter gotong royong ditentukan dengan pemahaman materi gotong royong, selebihnya sebesar 90,33% ditentukan oleh faktor lain. Oleh karena itu pemahaman materi gotong royong perlu ditingkatkan lagi pada diri siswa agar tertanam karakter gotong royong pada diri siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: karakter, gotong royong, pemahaman, materi, siswa kelas V SD ABSTRACT This research is aimed to find out the correlation of understanding mutual cooperation material in Pancasila Education learning and cooperative characters of 5th grade elementary students. This research is applicated in January-April 2024. The sample of this research is 5th grade students of state elementary school at Solear Subdistrict, Tangerang Regency. The researcher took the sample by using cluster random sampling technique and obtained 3 schools, namely Cikuya IV, Cireundeu II, and Cikareo I State Elementary School with the total sample is 147 students. The method used in this research is correlational method. Data collection is earned by using questionnaire and analyzed with analysis requirement test and hypothesis test. The result showed that there is a positive and significant correlation between understanding mutual cooperation material in Pancasila Education learning and students’ cooperative characters. With value rcount = 0,311 and included to the low category and contributed 9,67% which cooperative character is determined by the understanding of mutual cooperation material, the rest 90,33% is determined by another factor. Therefore, the understanding of mutual cooperation material must be increased further into the student, so the cooperative character is ingrained in the 5th grade elementary students.
