Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, menghitung, dan menganalisis Pengaruh Financial Attitude Terhadap Impulse Buying Melalui Gaya Hidup Mahasiswa di Daerah Jabodetabek. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tenik non probability sampling yaitu purposive sampling dan mengambil sampel sebanyak 200 responden yang terdiri dari mahasiswa di daerah Jabodetabek yang pernah melakukan impulse buying dengan kriteria pernah melakukan pembelian tanpa adanya rencana terlebih dahulu, dan pernah membeli sesuatu hanya berdasarkan keinginan. SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square) digunakan sebagai teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan software SmartPLS 4.0. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini dapat dibuktikan bahwa 1) financial attitude berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap impulse buying, 2) financial attitude berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap gaya hidup, 3) gaya hidup berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap impulse buying, dan 4) financial attitude berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap impulse buying melalui gaya hidup. ***** This research aims to determine, calculate and analyze the influence of financial attitude on impulse buying through student lifestyles in the Jabodetabek area. This research uses a quantitative approach using survey methods. Data collection was carried out using non-probability sampling techniques, namely purposive sampling and taking a sample of 200 respondents consisting of students in the Jabodetabek area who had made impulse purchases with the criteria of having made purchases without prior planning, and having bought something just based on desire. SEMPLS (Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square) was used as a data analysis technique in this research using SmartPLS 4.0 software. Based on hypothesis testing in this research, it can be proven that 1) financial attitude has a positive and significant effect on impulse buying, 2) financial attitude has a positive and significant effect on lifestyle, 3) lifestyle has a positive and significant effect on impulse buying, and 4) financial attitude has a positive and significant effect on impulse buying through lifestyle.
