Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman literal dan interpretatif dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) pada siswa lamban belajar kelas V di SDN Kramat Jati 01. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas desain John Elliot dengan tahapan menemukan ide awal, analisis temuan, perencanaan umum siklus, implementasi siklus, monitoring implementasi dan efeknya, dan penjelasan keberhasilan dan kegagalan implementasi. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 4 siswa kesulitan belajar kelas V di SDN Kramat Jati. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan teknik pengambilan data tes dan non-tes, kemudian dideskripsikan dalam bentuk tabel, grafik, dan narasi deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam kemampuan membaca pemahaman literal dan interpretatif pada siswa lamban belajar dengan rata-rata 74,2 pada siklus I dan rata-rata 90,5 pada siklus II. Peningkatan dalam kemampuan pemahaman literal mencakup pada aspek menemukan informasi dan menceritakan kembali, sedangkan pada pemahaman interpretatif mencakup aspek menentukan ide pokok dan kesimpulan. Penerapan strategi CSR menunjukkan siswa termotivasi untuk lebih aktif dan berpartisipasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan strategi pembelajaran collaborative strategic reading dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa lamban belajar kelas V di SDN Kramat Jati 01. ***** This research aims to improve literal and interpretative reading comprehension skills using the Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) strategy for slow learner students in class V at SDN Kramat Hati 01. This research method used is classroom action research based on John Elliot’s design, which includes the stage of identifying initial idea, fact-finding and analyst, general plan, implement action steps, monitoring implementation and effects, and explain any failure to implement and effects. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. The subjects of this research were 4 students with slow learner in class V at SDN Kramat Jati 01. This research data was collected using test and non-test data collection techniques, then described in the form of tables, graphics, and descriptive narratives. The results of the research showed an improvement in the literal and interpretative reading comprehension skills of the slow learner students, with an average score of 74.2 in the first cycle and 90.5 in the second cycle. The improvement in literal comprehension included aspects of finding information and retelling, while the improvement in interpretative comprehension included aspects of identifying the main idea and drawing conclusions. The implementation of the CSR strategy showed that students were motivated to be more active and participate in the learning process. From these results, it can be concluded that the use of the Collaborative Strategic Reading learning strategy can improve the reading comprehension skills of slow learner students in class V at SDN Kramat Jati 01.
