Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh diterapkannya problem solving approach terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis IPA siswa kelas IV di Kecamatan Jagakarsa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV A dan IV B di SDN Tanjung Barat 07 Pagi, Jagakarsa, Jakarta Selatan sebanyak 52 siswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Cluster sampling. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes uraian kemampuan berpikir kritis dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil Uji-T menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti hipotesis nol ditolak dan hipotesis kerja diterima. Jadi, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan diterapkannya problem solving approach terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis IPA siswa kelas IV di Kecamatan Jagakarsa. ** This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the problem-solving approach on the critical thinking abilities of fourth-grade students in the Jagakarsa District The sample for this study consists of 52 students from classes IV A and IV B at SDN Tanjung Barat 07 Pagi, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta The sampling technique used was Cluster sampling The method employed was experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design Data collection for this research utilized an essay test instrument to analyze critical thinking abilities, using the t-test The results of the t-test showed a significance value of 0,000 < 005, indicating that the null hypothesis was rejected and the alternative hypothesis was accepted Therefore, it indicates a significant influence of implementing the problem-solving approach on the critical thinking abilities of fourth-grade students in the Jagakarsa District.
