Abstract
Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPA melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) di kelas IV. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan di SDN Banjaran 01. Subjek Penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV yang berjumlah 27 peserta didik pada semester kedua tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Model penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. Hasil pemahaman konsep IPA pada siklus I mencapai 62,96 %, selanjutnya pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 81,48% namun belum memenuhi kriteria ketercapaian, dan dilanjutkan pada siklus III mengalami peningkatan dan memenuhi kriteria ketercapaian sebesar 92,86%. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah penerapan model kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dalam pembelajaran IPA dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik kelas IV SDN Banjaran 01 sehingga guru dapat menggunakan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPA. ***** ABSTRACT This Classroom Action Research aims to increase understanding of science concepts through the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model in class IV. This classroom action research was carried out at SDN Banjaran 01. The subjects of this research were 27 class IV students in the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research model used was the Kemmis and Mc.Taggart model. The results of understanding science concepts in cycle I reached 62.96%, then in cycle II there was an increase of 81.48% but did not meet the achievement criteria, and continued in cycle III there was an increase and met the achievement criteria of 92.86%. The conclusion of this research was that the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative model in science learning can increase the conceptual understanding of class IV students at SDN Banjaran 01 so that teachers can use the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model as an alternative to increase the participants' conceptual understanding. students in science learning.
