Abstract
*****ABSTRAK***** Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengetahui bagaimana pelestarian seni budaya Indonesia melalui Sanggar Bheksa Buana Sekolah Indonesia Johor Bahru di Johor Bahru. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dalam penelitian ini. Tempat penelitian dilakukan di Sekolah Indonesia Johor Bahru (SIJB) yang terletak tepat di belakang gedung Konsulat Jenderal Republik Indonesia (KJRI) Johor Bahru, yang beralamat di Jalan Taat, No. 46, 80100, Johor Bahru, Johor. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi berperan, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi data melalui triangulasi sumber oleh pakar. Hasil penelitian yang didapat setelah melakukan penelitian ini, peneliti mendapatkan hasil bahwa: (1) Pembelajaran yang ada di Sanggar Bheksa Buana ini terdiri dari 3 kesenian yaitu seni tari, seni musik, dan seni teater, (2) Sanggar Bheksa Buana memiliki 3 unsur pokok dari peranannya sebagai institusi atau pranata terhadap pelestarian budaya, yang pertama adalah peranan yang dapat mendorong dan membimbing masyarakat sebagai aset pelestarian, penopang, dan pendistribusian budaya. Berikutnya, peranan yang dilakukan dalam suatu konsep nyata sebagai wadah penyaluran minat dan bakat. Terakhir, peranan yang semestinya dianggap penting oleh masing-masing individu sebagai wadah pembelajaran kebudayaan, (3) Upaya pelestarian budaya Indonesia melalui peran Sanggar Bheksa Buana ini dengan cara pengalaman budaya dimana pelestarian budaya melalui keterlibatan langsung dalam pengalaman kultural atau seni. Upaya ini dilakukan jika kebudayaan tersebut berbentuk tarian ataupun musik, maka masyarakat dianjurkan untuk belajar dan berlatih dalam mengetahui dan menguasai kebudayaan tersebut dengan cara terlibat langsung. Adanya upaya pelestarian dan transmisi budaya melalui sanggar bheksa buana ini yaitu pewarisan budaya melalui pendidikan. SIJB dan Sanggar Bheksa Buana yang merupakan lembaga pendidikan berfungsi sebagai wadah yang berperan dalam penyebaran nilai-nilai budaya. Dengan dilakukannya penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat mempertahankan wadah sanggar ini sebagai wujud pelestarian budaya Indonesia yang terletak di Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia agar para warga lokal Indonesia disana tetap mengetahui dan melestarikan budayanya sendiri. Kata kunci: pelestarian budaya, sanggar bheksa buana, pendidikan, transmisi budaya *****ABSTRACT***** The purpose of this study is to describe and find out how to preserve Indonesian arts and culture through the Sanggar Bheksa Buana Indonesian School Johor Bahru in Johor Bahru. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method in this study. The research location was at Sekolah Indonesia Johor Bahru (SIJB) which is located right behind the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) Johor Bahru building, which is located at Jalan Taat, No. 46, 80100, Johor Bahru, Johor. Data collection techniques through deep interviews, role-playing observations, literature studies, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and make conclusions. The data validity technique uses data triangulation through source triangulation by experts. The results of the research obtained after conducting this research, the researcher found that: (1) The learning in Sanggar Bheksa Buana consists of 3 arts, namely dance, music, and theater. (2) Sanggar Bheksa Buana has 3 main elements of its role as an institution for cultural preservation. The first is a role that can encourage and guide the community as an asset for preserving, supporting, and distributing culture. Next, the role is carried out on a real concept, as a container for channeling interests and talents. Finally, the role that should be considered important by each individual as a container for cultural learning. (3) Efforts to preserve Indonesian culture through the role of Sanggar Bheksa Buana are through cultural experiences, where cultural preservation is through direct involvement in cultural or artistic experiences. This effort is made if the culture is in the form of dance or music, then the community is encouraged to learn and practice knowing and mastering the culture by being directly involved. The existence of efforts to preserve and transmit culture through Sanggar Bheksa Buana is the inheritance of culture through education. SIJB and Sanggar Bheksa Buana which are educational institutions function as a forum that plays a role in the dissemination of cultural values. By conducting this research, it is hoped that this studio can be maintained as a form of preserving Indonesian culture located in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia so that Indonesian citizen that live in Malaysia can continue to know and preserve their own culture.
