Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPA melalui penggunaan media video animasi berbasis pendidikan yang diambil dari platform digital pendidikan merdeka mengajar pada peserta didik kelas V. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan di SDN Karet 04 Jakarta. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VA yang berjumlah 26 orang peserta didik. Model penelitian tindakan kelas yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Data pemahaman konsep IPA peserta didik pada siklus I mencapai 69,39%, kemudian pada siklus II mencapai 84%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan media video animasi dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPA peserta didik kelas VA SDN Karet 04 Jakarta sehingga guru dapat menggunakan media video animasi sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPA peserta didik.*****This classroom action research was carried out to increase understanding of science concepts through the use of educational-based animated video media taken from the Merdeka Mengajar education digital platform for class V students. This classroom action research was carried out at SDN Karet 04 Jakarta. The subjects of this research were 26 VA class students. The classroom action research model used in this research is the Kemmis and Mc model. Taggart. Data on students' understanding of science concepts in cycle I reached 69.39%, then in cycle II it reached 84%. The conclusion of this research is that the application of animated video media can increase students' understanding of science concepts in class VA SDN Karet 04 Jakarta so that teachers can use animated video media as an alternative to increase students' understanding of science concepts.
