Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) terhadap hasil belajar muatan IPA di kelas IV SDN di kecamatan Pulo Gadung Jakarta Timur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain posttest only control group design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV B yang berjumlah 26 orang pada kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas IV C yang berjumlah 28 orang pada kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penskoran hasil belajar dan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji-t, berdasarkan perhitungan uji-t diperoleh nilai thitung = 1,727 dan ttabel = 1,674 pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 dan dk=52. Oleh karena itu harga thitung lebih besar dari harga ttabel (1,727>1,674) sehingga H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak, maka hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa “Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN di Kecamatan Pulo Gadung Jakarta Timur. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) dapat dijadikan salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. ***** This research aims to determine the effect of the Group Investigation (GI) type cooperative learning model on science learning outcomes in class IV SDN in Pulo Gadung sub-district, East Jakarta. The method used in this research is an experimental method with a posttest only control group design. The samples used in this research were 26 class IV B students in the experimental class and 28 class IV C students in the control class. Data collection was carried out by scoring learning outcomes and then analyzed using the t-test. Based on the t-test calculations, tcount = 1,727 and ttable = 1.674 at a significance level of α = 0.05 and dk = 52. Therefore, the tcount value is greater than the ttable price (1.727>1.674) so that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, so the research results show that "There is a positive and significant influence from the use of the Group Investigation (GI) type cooperative learning model on the science learning outcomes of grade IV elementary school students in Pulo Gadung District, East Jakarta. These results indicate that the Group Investigation (GI) type cooperative learning model can be used as an effort to improve the science learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students.
