Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui penerapan pendekatan keterampilan proses kelas V. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Pondok Bambu 02. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas V-C dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 29 siswa. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang mengadaptasi model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang dilakukan dalam 2 siklus melalui empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini melalui pengamatan tindakan guru, pegamatan aktivitas siswa, tes dan dokumentasi. Kemampuan berpikir kritis yang diharapkan yaitu dengan kriteria keberhasilan ≥75 dengan ketuntasan sebesar 85% dari jumlah siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis setelah diterapkan pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan keterampilan proses sains. Presentase kemampuan berpikir kritis pada siklus I sebesar 66% yang kemudian mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II dengan perolehan skor presentase sebesar 93% yang berarti mengalami peningkatan sebesar 27%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan keterampilan proses sains dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V. Kata Kunci: Berpikir Kritis, Keterampilan Proses ***** This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills through the application of the fifth grade process skills approach. The subjects in this study were class V-C with a total of 29 students. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (PTK) which adapted the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model which was carried out in 2 cycles through four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data collection technique of this research is through observation of teacher actions, observation of student activities, tests and documentation. The expected critical thinking ability is with success criteria ≥75 with completeness of 85% of the total number of students. The results showed that there was an increase in critical thinking skills after applying learning using the science process skills approach. The percentage of critical thinking skills in cycle I was 66% which then increased in cycle II with a percentage score of 93% which means an increase of 27%. Thus it can be concluded that the science process skills approach can improve the critical thinking skills of grade V students. Keywords: Critical Thinking, Process Skill
