Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi scaffolding terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu tes dengan indikator keterampilan proses sains berupa soal-soal uraian. Data instrumen dianalisis menggunakan analisis menggunakan analisis statistik yaitu uji t two sample assuming eual variances yang memperoleh nilai thitung > ttabel yakni 4,701 > 1,669, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil keterampilan proses sains peserta didik pada kelompok peserta didik yang menerapkan strategi scaffolding berbantuan LKPD dengan kelompok kontrol yang menerapkan pembelajaran inkuiri. Adapun pengaruh dari pengunaan strategi scaffolding berbantuan LKPD yang juga mempengaruhi hasil keseluruhan aspek keterampilan proses sains peserta didik yang dapat dianalisis dengan uji t-independen dengan hasil analisis 0,001 < 0,05. **********This research aims to determine the effect of scaffolding strategies on students' science process skills. The method used was quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. The research instrument used was a test with indicators of science process skills in the form of essay questions. The instrument data was analyzed using analysis using statistical analysis, namely the two sample t test assuming equal variances which obtained a value of tcount > ttable, namely 4.701 > 1.669. It can be concluded that there are differences in the results of students' science process skills in the group of students who implemented the LKPD-assisted scaffolding strategy with the group control that applies inquiry learning. The influence of using the scaffolding strategy assisted by LKPD also influences the overall results of aspects of students' science process skills which can be analyzed using an independent t-test with analysis results of 0.001 < 0.05.
