Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan intrapersonal dan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam muatan IPS pada siswa kelas V SDN di Kecamatan Tebet, Jakarta Selatan. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 119 siswa yang diambil pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2024-2025 di bulan Juni 2024. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi. Persamaan regresi yang diperoleh adalah Y = 12,573 + 0.213X dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,450, menunjukkan hubungan yang cukup erat antara kecerdasan intrapersonal dan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Uji signifikan menunjukkan thitung = 5,446 lebih besar dari ttabel = 1,980, yang berarti terdapat hubungan signifikan antara kedua variabel tersebut. Selain itu, melalui uji koefisien determinasi, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kecerdasan intrapersonal memberikan kontribusi sebesar 20% terhadap variasi kemampuan berpikir kritis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kecerdasan intrapersonal memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam muatan IPS pada siswa kelas V di Kecamatan Tebet, Jakarta Selatan. ***** This study aims to investigate the relationship between intrapersonal intelligence and critical thinking skills in social studies among 5th-grade students at public elementary schools in Tebet Subdistrict, South Jakarta. The sample consisted of 119 students, selected during the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year in June 2024. Data collection was conducted using descriptive statistical techniques and regression analysis. The regression equation obtained was Y = 12.573 + 0.213X with a correlation coefficient of 0.450, indicating a fairly strong relationship between intrapersonal intelligence and critical thinking skills. The significance test showed that the calculated t-value of 5.446 was greater than the table t-value of 1.980, indicating a significant relationship between the two variables. Additionally, through the coefficient of determination test, this study found that intrapersonal intelligence contributed 20% to the variance in critical thinking skills. Based on the results, it can be concluded that intrapersonal intelligence has a positive and significant influence on critical thinking skills in social studies among 5th-grade students in Tebet Subdistrict, South Jakarta.
