Abstract
PEMAHAMAN GURU TENTANG ANAK BERKEBUTUHAN KHUSUS HAMBATAN INTELEKTUAL DI SEKOLAH DASAR PENYELENGGARA PENDIDIKAN INKLUSIF WILAYAH KOTA TANGERANG Qatrun Nada Salsabila ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman guru tentang anak berkebutuhan khusus hambatan intelektual di sekolah dasar penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif wilayah Kota Tangerang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, metode survei dengan teknik statistika deskriptif. Perhitungan mengolah data menggunakan statistik dasar, diantaranya skor maksimum, skor minimum, rata-rata ideal, simpangan baku, dan batas ideal. Sampel penelitiannya yaitu 51 guru dari 5 sekolah dasar negeri penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif Kota Tangerang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 51 responden (100%) tergolong sudah baik dan dianggap memiliki pemahaman yang baik tentang anak berkebutuhan khusus hambatan intelektual. Oleh karena itu, guru yang sudah memiliki pemahaman yang baik tentang anak berkebutuhan khusus hambatan intelektual diharapkan dapat mengimplikasikan pemahamannya dengan cara memberikan pelayanan yang baik di sekolah sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kemampuan anak hambatan intelektual. Kata kunci: pemahaman, anak berkebutuhan khusus hambatan intelektual, sekolah inklusif THE COMPREHENSION OF TEACHERS CONCERNING CHILDREN WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS IMPLEMENTING INCLUSIVE EDUCATION IN THE TANGERANG CITY AREA Qatrun Nada Salsabila ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the comprehension of teachers concerning children with intellectual disabilities in primary schools implementing inclusive education in the Tangerang City area. This study employed a quantitative approach using survey methodology, employing descriptive statistical techniques. The data processing formula uses basic statistics, including maximum score, minimum score, ideal average, standard deviation, and ideal limit. The sample of this study consisted of 51 teachers from 5 public primary schools implementing inclusive education in Tangerang City. The results of this study indicate that 51 respondents (100%) are classified as good and are considered to have a good understanding of children with intellectual disabilities. Therefore, teachers who already have a good understanding of children with intellectual disabilities are expected to apply their understanding by providing good services at school according to the characteristics and abilities of children with intellectual disabilities.
