Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik melalui penerapan strategi REACT pada pembelajaran Matematika pada kelas IV SDN Srengseng Sawah 11. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV-A tahun ajaran 2023/2024 dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 32 peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model penelitian Kemmis dan McTaggart. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh pada pra-penelitian sebesar 37,5%, kemudian mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I dengan persentase data sebesar 66% dengan kata lain mengalami peningkatan sebesar 28,5% namun hasil pada siklus I belum memenuhi kriteria ketercapaian. Pada siklus II pun mengalami peningkatan sebesar 91% dengan kata lain mengalami peningkatan 25% dari siklus I. Selain hasil data kemampuan pemecahan masalah, juga dilakukan pengamatan penerapan strategi REACT. Hasil pengamatan aktivitas guru yang didapat pada siklus I yaitu 79% dan siklus II yaitu 97%, peningkatan yang terjadi sebesar 18%. Sedangkan pada hasil pengamatan aktivitas peserta didik yang didapat pada siklus I yaitu 73% dan siklus II yaitu 90%, peningkatan yang terjadi sebesar 17%. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dan analisis data yang telah diperoleh, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan strategi REACT pada pembelajaran Matematika mampu meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik. ********** This study aims to improve students' problem-solving abilities through implementing the REACT strategy in Mathematics learning in class IV of SDN Srengseng Sawah 11. The subjects of this research are students in class IV-A for the 2023/2024 academic year, with a total of 32 students. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and McTaggart research model. The research results obtained in pre-research were 37.5%, then experienced an increase in cycle I with a data percentage of 66%, or, in other words, an increase of 28.5%, but the results in cycle I did not meet the achievement criteria. In cycle II, there was an increase of 91%; in other words, there was an increase of 25% from cycle I. Apart from the data results on problem-solving abilities, observations were also made on the implementation of the REACT strategy. The results of observing teacher activities obtained in cycle I were 79% and in cycle II were 97%; the increase was 18%. Meanwhile, the results of observations of student activities obtained in cycle I were 73% and in cycle II were 90%; the increase that occurred was 17%. Based on the results of observations and data analysis that have been obtained, it can be concluded that using the REACT strategy in Mathematics learning is able to improve students' problem-solving abilities.
