Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pemahaman berkebhinnekaan global dengan sikap toleransi siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Mampang Prapatan Jakarta Selatan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V di SDN Pela Mampang 12, Pela Mampang 09, dan SDS Kupu-Kupu sebanyak 101 siswa. Pengambilan data menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling dengan model penelitian sederhana hubungan variabel X dengan variabel Y. Pendekatan dan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes soal pilihan ganda dan kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji korelasi pearson product moment dan uji signifikansi korelasi (uji-t). Berdasarkan perhitungan uji korelasi diperoleh nilai r sebesar 0,67 dan uji-t diperoleh hasil t hitung > t tabel (9,018 > 1,98). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis alternalitf (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pemahaman berkebhinekaan global dengan sikap toleransi siswa kelas V SD di Kecamatan Mampang Prapatan. Perhitungan koefisien determinasi diperoleh sebesar 45,09% dimana sikap toleransi ditentukan oleh pemahaman berkebhinekaan global, selebihnya sebesar 54,91% ditentukan oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti. Oleh sebab itu, pemahaman berkebhinekaan global perlu ditingkatkan dan ditanamkan pada diri siswa agar mampu meningkatkan sikap toleransi siswa kelas V SD. Kata Kunci: Pemahaman Berkebhinekaan Global, Sikap Toleransi ***** This research aims to determine the relationship between understanding global diversity and the tolerance attitude of fifth grade elementary school students in the Mampang Prapatan district, South Jakarta. The sample in this study was all class V students at SDN Pela Mampang 12, Pela Mampang 09, and SDS Kupu�Kupu as many as 101 students. Data retrieval using a cluster random sampling technique with a simple research model of the relationship between variable X and variable Y. The approach and research method used was a quantitative approach with correlational methods. Data collection was carried out using multiple choice questions and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson product moment correlation test and correlation significance test (t-test). Based on the correlation test calculations, the r value was obtained at 0.67 and the t test results obtained t count > t table (9.018 > 1.98). These results indicate that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, so it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between understanding global diversity and the tolerance attitude of fifth grade elementary school students in Mampang Prapatan District. The calculation of the coefficient of determination obtained was 45.09%, where the attitude of tolerance was determined by an understanding of global diversity, the remaining 54.91% was determined by other factors not studied. Therefore, understanding of global diversity needs to be improved and instilled in students in order to be able to increase the tolerance attitude of fifth grade elementary school students.
