Abstract

Iklim sekolah yang tidak kondusif merupakan salah satu penyebab utama terjadinya perilaku bullying di lingkungan pendidikan. Iklim sekolah yang buruk, seperti rendahnya keterlibatan guru, kurangnya rasa aman, serta lemahnya hubungan sosial antar siswa, seringkali berkontribusi pada meningkatnya tindakan kekerasan dan intimidasi. Dampak negatif dari bullying diantaranya penurunan prestasi akademik, masalah kesehatan mental, serta munculnya perilaku antisosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara iklim sekolah dan bullying, penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan pendekatan asosiatif dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner pada 324 siswa di SMP Negeri di DKI Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa iklim sekolah berhubungan signifikan dengan bullying (p value = 0,0005 < 0,05), adapun koefisien korelasi hubungan antara iklim sekolah dengan bullying sebesar -0,259. Hal ini berarti bahwa variabel iklim sekolah dan bullying memiliki hubungan yang negatif dengan tingkat keeratan yang lemah. Temuan ini mengimplikasikan bahwa sekolah perlu menyediakan suasana sekolah yang aman bagi anak berkembang secara akademis, hubungan, emosional dan perilaku. A poor school climate, such as low teacher involvement, lack of safety, and weak social relationships between students, often contributes to increased acts of violence and bullying. The negative impacts of bullying include decreased academic achievement, mental health problems, and the emergence of antisocial behavior. This study aims to determine the relationship between school climate and bullying, this study uses a survey method with an associative approach with data collection using a questionnaire on 324 students in public junior high schools in DKI Jakarta. The results showed that school climate was significantly related to bullying (p value = 0.0005 <0.05), while the correlation coefficient between school climate and bullying was -0.259. This means that the school climate and bullying variables have a negative relationship with a weak level of closeness. This finding implies that schools need to provide a safe school atmosphere for children to develop academically, relationally, emotionally and behaviorally. keywords: bullying, school climate, students
