Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, 1) perbedaan ketepatan forehand dan backhand, 2) perbedaan kecepatan forehand dan backhand, Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey. Subjek penelitian ini adalah atlet tenis meja DKI Jakarta lapis 3 sebanyak 10 atlet. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan memukul bola ke arah meja lawan yang dideteksi oleh radar kecepatan. Sedangkan pengumpulan data ketepatan dilakukan dengan memukul bola kearah meja lawan yang sudah diberi tanda target. Masing-masing tes untuik setiap atlet melakukan 10 kali pukulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis maka teknik pukulan ketepatan forehand 70% lebih baik dan unggul dibandingkan ketepatan backhand 50%. Sedangkan kecepatan forehand 70% lebih baik dibandingkan kecepatan backhand 40%, maka kedua nya memiliki perbedaan. Kata Kunci : Backhand, Forehand, Kecepatan, Ketepatan. / This research aims to determine, 1) the difference in forehand and backhand accuracy, 2) the difference in forehand and backhand speed. This research method uses a survey method. The subjects of this research were 10 DKI Jakarta Tier 3 table tennis athletes. Data collection is carried out by hitting the ball towards the opponent's table which is detected by the speed radar. Meanwhile, accuracy data collection is carried out by hitting the ball towards the opponent's table which has been marked with a target. In each test, each athlete performs 10 strokes. Based on the results of the analysis, the forehand accuracy of 70% is better and superior to the backhand accuracy of 50%. Meanwhile, 70% forehand speed is better than 40% backhand speed, so the two have differences. Keywords: Backhand, Forehand, Speed, Accuracy.
