Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Indonesia dengan kemampuan menulis karangan narasi ekspositoris. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif korelasi. Dalam penelitian ini populasi yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas V di kecamatan Tanah Sareal Kota Bogor. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah Cluster Random Sampling yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel secara kluster atau daerah yang mengerucut hingga menemukan sekolah yang telah ditentukan. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 148 siswa dari SDN Pondok Rumput dan SDN Kebon Pedes 7. Berdasarkan hasil analisis korelasi diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 < 0,05, artinya terdapat korelasi antara penguasaan kosakata dengan kemampuan menulis karangan narasi ekspositoris. Korelasi kedua variabel tersebut sebesar 0,562 dengan korelasi positif. Korelasi sebesar 0,562 termasuk dalam korelasi sedang. ***** The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Indonesian language vocabulary mastery and the ability to write expository narrative essays. The research method in this study is a quantitative correlation. Population of this study it’s fifth grade students in Tanah Sareal District, Bogor City, the sampling technique in this research is Cluster Random Sampling. This sampling technique uses for clusters or narrowed areas to find specified schools. The sample used in this study amounted 148 students from SDN Pondok Rumput and SDN Kebon Pedes 7. Based on the results of the correlation analysis, a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, so it can be conclude that there is a correlation between Indonesian language vocabulary mastery and the ability to write expository narrative essays. The correlation between two variables is 0.562 with a positive correlation. The correlation of 0.562 is included in the moderate correlation.
