Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep diri Mahasiswa dalam membangun personal branding di media sosial. Pendekatan Penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deksriptif dengan metode survei. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 74 Mahasiswa aktif S1 Pendidikan Tata Busana, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Jakarta Angkatan 2020-2022 dan Mahasiswa aktif D4 Desain Mode, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Jakarta Angkatan 2020- 2022. Teknik pengambilan sampling yang digunakan adalah Proportional Stratified Random Sampling. Teknik Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket melalui google form sebanyak 25 item pernyataan yang terkait dengan konsep diri mahasiswa dalam membangun personal branding di media sosial dan menggunakan pengukuran skala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsep diri mahasiswa dalam membangun personal branding di media sosial memiliki konsep diri positif sebesar 79% mencakup yakin terhadap kemampuan diri 60%, merasa setara dengan orang lain 75%, menerima pujian tanpa rasa malu 85% , mampu meningkatkan diri 88%,penerimaan terhadap perbedaan 85% dan konsep diri negatif sebesar 59% mencakup peka terhadap kritik 51%, bersikap responsif 53%, bersikap hiperkritis 56%, cenderung merasa tidak disukai 62%, bersikap pesimis 69%. ************** This research aims to determine students' self-concept in building personal branding on social media. This research approach is descriptive quantitative with survey methods. Respondents in this research were 74 active undergraduate students of Fashion Design Education, Faculty of Engineering, Jakarta State University Class of 2020-2022 and active D4 Fashion Design students, Faculty of Engineering, Jakarta State University Class of 2020-2022. The sampling technique used was Proportional Stratified Random Sampling. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing a questionnaire via Google Form with 25 statement items related to students' self-concept in building personal branding on social media and using Likert scale measurements. The results of the research show that students' self-concept in building personal branding on social media has a positive self-concept of 79% including being confident in one's abilities 60%, feeling equal to others 75%, accepting praise without shame 85%, able to improve oneself 88%, acceptance of differences 85% and self-concept negative 59% including being sensitive to criticism 51%, being responsive 53%, being hypercritical 56%, tending to feel disliked 62%, 69% are pessimistic.
