Abstract

ABSTRAK Fitri Kiranashari, Reproduksi Seni Kasidah (Studi Kasus : Upaya Komunitas Kasidah Masjid Al-Isra’ dalam Melestarikan Seni Kasidah), Skripsi. Jakarta : Program Studi Pendidikan Sosiologi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2025. Pada penelitian ini, terdapat tiga tujuan utama, pertama, untuk menjelaskan latar belakang Komunitas Kasidah Masjid Al-Isra’ dalam mereproduksi seni kasidah. Kedua, untuk mengkaji upaya Komunitas Kasidah Masjid Al-Isra’ dalam mereproduksi seni Kasidah. Ketiga, untuk mendeskripsikan dampak dari upaya Komunitas Kasidah Masjid Al-Isra’ dalam mereproduksi seni kasidah. Penelitian dilakukan di Jalan Menara, Kampung Pondok Ranggon sebagai lokasi Komunitas Kasidah Masjid Al-Isra’, selama enam bulan, dari Mei sampai dengan November 2024. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian yakni pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode studi kasus. Data penelitian didapatkan melalui proses wawancara mendalam, observasi, dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Subjek pada penelitian ini berjumlah 18 orang, yang terdiri dari 12 informan kunci yakni Komunitas Kasidah Masjid Al-Isra’ (1 Ketua, 1 bendahara, dan 10 anggota), 2 informan tambahan, dan 4 informan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Komunitas Kasidah Masjid Al-Isra’ telah mampu mereproduksi seni kasidah sehingga seni kasidah dapat tetap lestari. Alasan yang melatarbelakangi Komunitas Kasidah Masjid Al-Isra’ melakukan reproduksi yakni karena adanya kepercayaan, nilai, norma dan simbol yang terkandung pada seni kasidah. Dalam mereproduksi seni kasidah, komunitas berupaya menyesuaikan dengan tren pasar, karena terpengaruhi oleh industri musik saat ini. Upaya reproduksi komunitas lakukan melalui identifikasi, alat produksi, formasi dan menyesuaikan bentuk pada seni kasidah. Pada reproduksi, komunitas pun melakukan replikasi dan inovasi. Dampak dari reproduksi tersebut yakni membentuk rasa bangga, memeriahkan acara, memperluas pengetahuan budaya dan agama, menciptakan daya tarik, dan meningkatkan religiusitas. Selain itu, seni kasidah pun dapat tetap lestari di masyarakat pada tingkat lokal, meski tetap menjadi “seni rendah”. In this research, there are three main objectives, first, to explain the background of the Al-Isra’ Mosque Kasidah Community in reproducing the art of kasidah. Second, to examine the efforts of the Al-Isra’ Mosque Kasidah Community in reproducing the art of Kasidah as an Islamic tradition. Third, to describe impact of the efforts of the Al-Isra’ Mosque Kasidah Community in reproducing the art of kasidah. The research was conducted at Jalan Menara, Pondok Ranggon Village as the location of the Al-Isra’ Mosque Kasidah Community, for six months from May to November 2024. The approach used in the research is a qualitative approach, with a case study method. Research data were obtained through a process of in-depth interviews, observation, documentation and literature study. The subjects in this study amounted to 18 people, consisting of 12 key informants namely the Al-Isra' Mosque Kasidah Community (1 Head, 1 treasurer, and 10 members), 2 additional informants, and 4 triangulation informants. The results of this study indicate that the Al-Isra' Mosque Kasidah Community has been able to reproduce the art of kasidah so that the art of kasidah can be preserved. The reason behind the Al-Isra Mosque Kasidah Community reproducing is because of the beliefs, values, norms and symbols contained in the art of kasidah. In reproducing the art of kasidah, the community tries to adjust to market trends, because it is influenced by the current music industri. The community's reproduction efforts are done through identification, production tools, formation and adjusting the form to the art of kasidah. In reproduction, the community also replicates and innovates. The impact of the reproduction is to form a sense of pride, enliven the event, expand cultural and religious knowledge, create attractiveness, and increase religiosity. In addition, the art of kasidah can also be preserved in the community at the local level, even though it remains a “low art”. Keywords: Reproduction, Art of Kasidah, Community
