Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa sebuah modul dengan materi upcycle untuk mata kuliah sustainable fashion pada program studi Desain Terapan di Universitas Negeri Jakarta, serta melakukan penilaian modul berdasarkan karakteristik modul dan elemen modul. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis metode eksperimen yang digunakan yakni pre-experimental dengan desain penelitian one shot case study. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner (angket) tertutup yang disebar kepada 2 panelis untuk menilai karakteristik modul, dan 2 panelis untuk menilai elemen modul. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara keseluruhan modul mendapatkan nilai sebesar 91,33% dimana penilaian ini masuk kedalam kategori sangat baik. Jika dijabarkan, perolehan nilai karakteristik modul atau materi modul sebesar 96,42%, dengan perolehan nilai tertinggi pada aspek self contained dan stand alone yaitu sebesar 100% sedangkan perolehan nilai terendah pada aspek adaptive, yaitu sebesar 93,75%. Pada elemen modul, perolehan nilai tertinggi adala aspek format dengan perolehan nilai sebesar 91,67%, sedangkan nilai terendah ada pada aspek daya tarik, yaitu sebesar 79,16%. Hasil penilaian secara keseluruhan modul dikategorikan sangat baik untuk dijadikan bahan ajar pada mata kuliah sustainable fashion pada program studi Sarjana Terapan Desain Mode. *********** This study aims to produce a teaching module on upcycling for Sustainable Fashion course in the Applied Design program at Universitas Negeri Jakarta, as well as to assess the module based on characteristics of module and element of module. The research method used is an experiment with a quantitative approach. The experimental method applied is pre-experimental with a one-shot case study design. Data collection techniques involved distributing a closed questionnaire to two experts to assess the module’s characteristics and two experts to assess the module’s element. The result showed that, overall, the module received a score of 91,33%, placing it in the excellent category. Specifically, the module’s characteristics or content received a score 96,42%, with the highest score in the self-contained and stand alone aspects, which scores 100%, and the lowest score in the adaptive aspect, which was 93,75%. Regarding the module’s element, the highest score was in the format aspect, with a score of 91,67%, while the lowest score was in the attractiveness aspect, with a score of 79,16%. Overall, the module was categorized as excellent for use as teaching material in the Sustainable Fashion course ini the Bachelor of Applied Fashion Design program.
