Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning pada siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) ini dilaksanakan di SDN Guntur 01 Setiabudi Jakarta Selatan. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV B yang berjumlah 29 orang. Model PTK yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengadaptasi model Kemmis & McTaggart yang terdiri dari tiga siklus dan setiap siklusnya terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu, perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Data hasil belajar muatan IPA yang berfokus pada hasil belajar ranah kognitif pada siklus I adalah 72%. Pada siklus II hasil belajar ranah kognitif adalah 93%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV B SDN Guntur 01 Setiabudi Jakarta Selatan sehingga guru dapat menggunakan model PBL sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa. ***** This study aims to improve students' science learning outcomes through the use of the Problem Based Learning learning model in grade IV elementary school students. This classroom action research (CAR) was conducted at SDN Guntur 01 Setiabudi, South Jakarta. The subjects of this study were 29 grade IV B students. The CAR model used in this study adapted the Kemmis & McTaggart model which consists of three cycles and each cycle consists of four stages, namely, planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data on science learning outcomes that focused on cognitive domain learning outcomes in cycle I was 72%. In cycle II, cognitive domain learning outcomes were 93%. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve science learning outcomes of grade IV B students of SDN Guntur 01 Setiabudi, South Jakarta so that teachers can use the PBL model as an alternative to improve students' science learning outcomes.
