Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah dengan metode drill dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membuat batik ciprat khususnya tahapan menciprat kain pada peserta didik hambatan intelektual di SLB Negeri 7 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Januari-Desember 2024 dengan subjek penelitian peserta didik tingkat SMALB yang menekuni keterampilan batik ciprat sebanyak 3 orang. Focus penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan menciprat kain peserta didik hambatan intelektual ringan kelas XI dan XII di SLB Negeri 7 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilaksanakanan sebanyak II siklus dengan setiap siklusnya menggunakan prosedur tindakan yaitu perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Analisa data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan perhitungan belajar tuntas yang menghasilkan peningkatkan presentase hasil belajar. Penelitian ini telah menetapkan kriteria ketuntasan, sebelum melakukan tindakan siklus I, peneliti juga melakukan pretes untuk memperoleh data awal. Pada penilaian awal tes kemampuan menciprat kain peserta didik yaitu 21,6/45 yang berada di kategori “kurang”. lalu Setelah dilakukan tindakan siklus I peserta didik mengalami peningkatan keterampilan menciprat kain, pada tahap ini peserta didik sudah mampu menyebutkan alat dan bahan serta cara penggunaannya secara sederhana. Hasil skor yang diperoleh pada siklus I mengalami peningkatan dengan skor nilai rata-rata sebesar 27/56,2 atau di kategori “cukup”. Dari pelaksanaan siklus II mendapatkan hasil rata-rata dengan skor akhir 41,6/86,6 yang berada pada kategori sangat baik. Setelah dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas pada siklus II diperoleh data bahwa setiap subjek penelitian telah mengalami peningkatkan dalam mengenal dan memahami bagaimana cara menciprat kain yang baik, seluruh subjek telah memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah metode drill dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membuat batik ciprat peserta didik hambatan intelektual ringan di SLB Negeri 7 Jakarta. ***** This study aims to determine whether the drill method can improve the ability to make batik ciprat, especially the splashing stage of cloth in students with intellectual disabilities at SLB Negeri 7 Jakarta. This study was conducted in January-December 2024 with the research subjects being 3 SMALB students who were studying batik ciprat skills. The focus of this study was to improve the splashing ability of students with mild intellectual disabilities in grades XI and XII at SLB Negeri 7 Jakarta. This study was carried out in 2 cycles with each cycle using action procedures, namely action planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data analysis in this study used a complete learning calculation which resulted in an increase in the percentage of learning outcomes. This study has determined the criteria for completeness, before carrying out the cycle I action, the researcher also conducted a pre-test to obtain initial data. In the initial assessment of the students' cloth splashing ability test, it was 21.6/45 which was in the "less" category. Then after the cycle I action was carried out, students experienced an increase in their cloth splashing skills, at this stage students were able to mention tools and materials and how to use them simply. The score results obtained in cycle I increased with an average score of 27/56.2 or in the "sufficient" category. From the implementation of cycle II, the average results were obtained with a final score of 41.6/86.6 which was in the very good category. After conducting classroom action research in cycle II, data was obtained that each research subject had experienced an increase in knowing and understanding how to splash cloth properly, all subjects had met the completion criteria. The conclusion of the results of this study is that the drill method can improve the ability to make batik ciprat for students with mild intellectual disabilities at SLB Negeri 7 Jakarta.
