Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan manajemen penerimaan peserta didik baru di SMA Negeri Unggulan Mohammad Husni Thamrin Jakarta. Sub fokus penelitian ini yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi. Informan penelitian ini adalah Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kesiswaan, Penanggungjawab Panitia Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru, Panitia Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru Jalur Verifikasi Umum, Dan Panitia Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru Jalur Verifikasi Afirmasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru diawali dengan membentuk kepanitiaan menyusun petunjuk teknis untuk menjadi panduan resmi dalam Panitia Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru dan petunjuk teknis diajukan kepada Dinas Pendidikan (2) Pengorganisasian dimulai dengan penunjukan ketua panitia oleh kepala sekolah, yang kemudian memilih anggota panitia berdasarkan kemampuan dan kualifikasi mereka dengan demikian setiap anggota memiliki tanggung jawab yang spesifik (3) Pelaksanaan Panitia Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru meliputi, sosialisasi Panitia Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru, pendaftaran online, dan ujian seleksi (4) Pengawasan dilakukan oleh Dinas Pendidikan sementara sekolah melakukan evaluasi untuk menilai capaian kegiatan dan mengidentifikasi kendala yang muncul. ***** This study aims to explain the management of admission of new students at Mohammad Husni Thamrin Superior State High School Jakarta. The sub-focus of this research is planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection through interviews, observations, documentation studies. The informants of this research are the Vice Principal for Student Affairs, the Person in Charge of the New Student Admission Committee, the General Verification New Student Admission Committee, and the Affirmation Verification New Student Admission Committee. The results of the study show that: (1) Planning for New Student Admission begins with forming a committee to prepare technical instructions to become official guidelines in the New Student Admission Committee and technical instructions are submitted to the Education Office (2) Organizing begins with the appointment of the committee chairman by the principal, who then selects committee members based on their abilities and qualifications. specific (3) The implementation of the New Student Admission Committee includes, socialization of the New Student Admission Committee, online registration, and selection exams (4) Supervision is carried out by the Education Office while the school conducts an evaluation to assess the achievements of activities and identify obstacles that arise.
