Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada mata pelajaran IPAS melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning pada siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian tindak kelas ini dilaksanakan di SDN Kelapa Dua Wetan 02 Pagi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V-B yang berjumlah 31 orang siswa. Model penelitian tindakan kelas yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model Kemmis dan MC. Taggart. Data kemampuan berpikir kritis pada muatan IPAS pada siklus I mencapai 67%, kemudian pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan sebesar 90%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan model Problem Based Learning pada pembelajaran IPAS dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V-B SDN Kelapa Dua Wetan 02 Pagi. Sehingga guru dapat menggunakan model Problem Based Learning sebagai salah satu alternatif guna meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS. ***** This Classroom Action Research was conducted to improve critical thinking skills in IPAS subjects through the Problem Based Learning learning model for grade V students. This class action research was conducted at SDN Kelapa Dua Wetan 02 Pagi. The subjects of this study were V-B class students totaling 31 students. The classroom action research model used in this study is the Kemmis and MC. Taggart model. Data on critical thinking skills on IPAS content in cycle I reached 67%, then in cycle II there was an increase of 90%. The conclusion of this research is that the application of Problem Based Learning model in IPAS learning can improve the critical thinking ability of V-B grade students of SDN Kelapa Dua Wetan 02 Pagi. So that teachers can use the Problem Based Learning model as an alternative to improve students' critical thinking skills in IPAS learning.
